Audio/Video Quality: The stereo audio was on the low side and the music was okay. I could hear the vocals but only once I turned up the volume to the point where it'd shatter glass if another program came on. The 1.33:1 ratio full frame color video looked slightly above average for low budget releases put out at the same time this one was released but it was nothing close to as good looking as the more recent Volume 50.

Body of Review: Barely Legal is the Hustler series named after it's magazine which supposedly focuses on very young (although of legal age) women in a variety of setups. Barely Legal 26 was the first volume I'd seen and the women looked to be between their early to mid 20's. None of them were as good looking in the video as they were on the box cover but they weren't ugly either. Thankfully Hustler has improved a lot over the years with the most recent release, Volume 50 a very nicely done show. Here's a quick breakdown of the scenes from this earlier volume, noting that it had a certain amount of appeal to me even after all these years:

Scene One: Service With A Smile: Quincy plays a plumber who is called to fix Michael's hot tub. This being a porno, she cleans his pipes instead. The sex was oral and straight only but she managed to prove worth showing as the lead gal. On the back cover, she's the one in the upper left hand corner. While there was not much heat for me, she seemed about the right age for the series.

Scene Two: An Appointment To Show: Jasmine played a realtor for Century 51 (if you're going to make a take off, why not use Century 69?) and had sex with Bill on a couch. Neither of them impressed me that they were having fun.

Scene Three: On The Job Training: Cheryl, on her first day at work, finds out that her duties include being a fluffer for Tony. Talk about shitty jobs! In any case, they screwed in the dressing room. She took a time out to urinate at one point so if pissing excites you, there's something extra for you. She's on the back cover in the middle on the far left hand side. It wasn't a great scene but not too bad.

Scene Four: Slumber Party Sluts: In a home theatre set up, Aimee, Avy, and Nikki, get it on together. They are the ones on the front cover. The scene wasn't bad at all and had some heat.

Scene Five: Light My Fire: Stacy and Ryan boned on a bed. She's the one on the back cover sitting on blue and pink sheets. It was not great and not bad; like most of this DVD.

Summary: The sex here was average and the women not really what the title advertises. Other than that, it was fairly bland in most ways. I really dislike the forced commercial at the front of the movie-not being able to skip or scan it makes it even worse. The extras were clearly not from this volume except for the photogallery which makes me want to subtract from that score too. I'm going to rate it as a Rent It for fans of gals with less experience on camera but it was certainly not the strongest volume in a usually decent series.
