Back in the 2000s, American Apparel raised some eyebrows by featuring pornstars in its ads. No stranger to risqué controversy, the company’s decision was ultimately unsurprising. What came as bigger surprise was that in a few years, the pendulum swung the other way. But that’s exactly what Greg Lansky did with Tushy: Make porn that looks like it came out of the latest issue of Nylon or Vogue. Suddenly, there was gonzo with the aesthetic of hipster babes who wear American Apparel, and the magazines that inform their fashion choices. You can’t tell me these ads didn’t influence the look of every Tushy DVD. This was a wonderful development, one that has elevated gonzo above and beyond the gaudy LA mansions and ugly sofas of gonzo’s first wave. Tushy is a great studio, and Views Vol. 2 is a great title.

Scene One: La Vie, with Agatha Vega and Manuel Ferrara; directed by Julia Grandi

After a brief montage that fills us in about Agatha Vega’s recent visit to Paris and her love of the place, things heat up between her and Manuel Ferrara. The pair hookup on a balcony that’s spitting distance from the Eiffel Tower, and the view is incredible. As he disrobes her, we see that she’s already rocking an anal plug. I love it when that particular toy is preinserted. It’s a symbol of the woman’s readiness, and an affirmation that she’s game for experimentation. Better still, Mr. Ferrara teasingly removes it with his mouth.

Miss Vega is gorgeous, from her exotic skin tone to her unique breast tattoos. Mr. Ferrara, of course, is an industry titan and an Olympian lay. The two perform well together, with Miss Vega giving impressive head and going ass to mouth (among other things) all with one of the most grandiose backgrounds imaginable. Emily Cutie’s impressive pictures on IG land her a photography gig at an exotic European locale. We are treated to those pictures in the intro, and indeed, Miss Cutie’s artistic flair and toned assets make an enticing pair.

Alberto Blanco, her host, sends her a text directing her to a present — and some instructions.

Both stars are very attractive, and their bodies “match” in a pleasing way: slender but not scrawny; supple but simultaneously toned. Miss Cutie’s expression, which runs through her whole body, when Mr. Blanco first brings his cock to her asshole is not to be missed. I’ve watched a lot of porn, and it’s so easy to go into the third scene of any DVD with the jaded expectation of, “Well, here comes the B-Team" — but that cynicism was blown out of the water. Views Vol. 2 is 100 percent worth your time and your money. I can’t remember the last time I watched a DVD in which all four of the women were so equally gorgeous. The sex is just as consistently good, too, keeping things anal and raunchy without ever going overboard. The beautiful locations and unimpeachable cinematography make it all that much better.
