Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in non-anamorphic widescreen color was an approximate aspect ratio of 1.85:1, not the industry standard. The grain was the worst problem here with the video noise coming a close second. This was due to the lighting problems and artistic effects employed, something that detracted from both the story and the sex. There were other problems but even the colors being off didn't compare as a problem next to the mentioned difficulties. The audio was presented in stereo English, a standard these days in American porn. It was hollow and the vocals mixed somewhat poorly but the music stood out as the problem child this time. If you like the stars a whole lot, it won't bother you as much as it did me, but it could've been so much better.

Body of Review: I see a lot of porn from a lot of companies and sometimes I wonder what happened to companies that used to be prolific producers of fine porn. One such company, Elegant Angel, once stood out from the pack with a host of lines that drew crowds in from all over the world. In the last few years though, competition has slammed at the company and it simply hasn't been able to keep up with a changing marketplace. As it tries to reshape itself and get back into the game, the company has released a few titles, one of them being Brain Wash 2, a story about a young gal (Amythiest) who is either a prisoner or a mental patient, depending on which montages you believe. If the story seems confusing, that's because it started out in another volume and very little was explained at the beginning of the DVD. If this is the great white hope of Elegant Angel, it'll need to go back to the drawing board but it was worth watching once (for fans of the performers). Here's a breakdown of the scenes, noting that no credits were supplied listing who's who:

Scene One: Allison, a redheaded stripper wearing fishnet stockings and vinyl boots, and Evan, had a scene in a club. It was a pretty straightforward scene with her stripping for much of it and him boning her vaginally for the rest. I didn't like the slow motion effects and the lighting was artistic but limited. She blew him to completion at the end but it didn't seem to have much heat. I was hoping the jailhouse shower scene would've evolved into something more concrete but that never happened.

Scene Two: Gina, playing a nurse, used her curvy body to get Amythiest off on a bed. Both gals were hot looking (Gina's a native Texan) and the action included lots of oral and rubbing before the dildo came into play. They used a double-headed dildo and rode it at the same time, ass to ass (although not anally) and the short scene was pretty good considering its limits.

Scene Three: Rio, a hot little Latino, and Chris, a dirty White boy, had a scene that was edited into a montage of Caily dominating the other cast members. The sex included oral and straight with some anal to top it off. He jerked off onto her abdomen when he was threw and the scene wasn't bad.

Scene Four: Kelli, a curvy blonde, and Trevor, a muscular guy that looked a bit weaker than John, had a scene by an outdoor pool. The scene had a lot of visual effects too but for the most part wasn't bad. She gave a good blowjob and they boned for quite a while on the hard concrete before he rubbed out a load onto her body.

Scene Five: Amythiest, the lead of the show contrary to what the cover would have you believe, and Tyce, had a scene on a marble table outdoors. It was oral and straight only but not bad for this kind of movie. I thought the editing was bad since the flashes of other gals made me want to see them in action too but Canterbury is known for art over heat with his work for Adam & Eve.

Summary: The movie was on the low side of average with mediocre production values and a lot of filler between the sex scenes. The plot and story seemed a rip off of several other porn titles and I can honestly say that this was barely strong enough to rate a Rent It. No one will accuse Elegant Angel of being innovative here but I've seen a lot worse from other companies lately too. My fingers are crossed in hopes that Elegant Angel will rise from the ashes in the manner of a Phoenix but I remember them for making better movies years ago when I used to review them for another website.
