And this second volume proves to be considerably better than the first one not so much because of the cast or the sex (which were fine on Vol. 1) but because of the cinematography, which is much improved this time around. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident in some of the darker colors and the blacks but other than that, there's not a lot to complain about. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on, and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything is coming up roses as far as the look of the film is concerned.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. The soundtrack is mixed in properly at a respectable level most of them time but there are a few spots where the music is definitely louder than it needed to be and as such it slightly overshadows the speaking parts when they do occur. Bass response is nice and lively and overall, for a porno movie, this is a better than average effort.

Extras:

Extra features, aside from the standard chapter or starlet selection options, start off with a decent behind the scenes documentary. If you want to see Flower Tucci take a wizz outside, and who doesn't, then this ought to get your panties moist. There's also some random goofing around and candid interview clips in here. It's not going to blow your mind but it's an entertaining enough diversion. The Mope Show is a strange three minute clip of a guy tap dancing in a living room. There's also roughly nine minute of Joanna getting some ink slapped on her leg in the Live Tattoo clip. Rounding out the extra features is gallery of skin art and trailers for a few other Burning Angel DVD releases.

Final Thoughts:
