Audio/Video Quality: She Devil was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that most porn is shot in. The lighting was solid, the picture sharp and clear, and most of the time, I think it looked very good (or better). Some of the camera angles weren't optimal and I wished there was more variety in the action but in terms of the picture; it was nicely done. The audio was presented in the usual stereo English but even though it was minimally done, the vocals were sometimes too low to hear without turning the sound up a lot more than I like to do (since when the audio kicked back in, it blared way too loud).

Body of Review: Few can deny that the lovely Monica Mayhem, also known as the Thunder from Down Under, has been making porn for a while now and it's easy to see why she has developed such a following among fans. She seems to enjoy women as much as men and often displays the kind of passion fans look for. In her continuing contract status with Cherry Boxxx Pictures, she has made a number of decent releases, including her latest, Monica Mayhem is The She Devil. In the movie, Monica had three scenes, sported a brunette wig in a few as a bystander, and gave me another reason to keep watching Cherry Boxxx. Here's a quick look at the show for fans of the lovely blonde:

Scene One: Monica, wearing the same fetish outfit she did in the center of the front DVD cover, sat upon a bed waiting for Cheyne to come and service her. After a brief monologue, he came and sold his soul to her in order to get some sexual gratuities from her. He went down on her, she returned the favor, and then they screwed in a moderately heated manner. I like her look and she has some decent skill at milking a nut so I enjoyed the scene but it wasn't her best work to date.

Scene Two: Brody, a very lean brunette, acted as one of Monica's minions by sucking Dick's penis on a couch. She looked a lot like a stripper you'd be able to find at any generic in most towns but her oral skills showed she's had some experience with treating men right. They screwed for a while in several positions (including the PTM action found in all of director Rick's movies) before he jerked a load onto her face. It was mechanical but okay to watch once.

Scene Three: Sue, a very attractive blonde from Europe, and Monica, sporting a dark wig (as seen on the front DVD cover), had a lesbian scene on a bed. I liked Monica's outfit and the gals seemed to have a moderate amount of chemistry together so the scene was among the best of the bunch. They used a vibrator on one another and I could almost smell the juices flowing as they each got off. Fans of carpet munching will like this one a lot.

Scene Four: Arcadia, an admittedly homely gal, looked like she was an islander from one of the Pacific Basin countries. Her scene was with muscular John who tore her up as he licked and hammered away at her once hard from her blowjob. She had some talent with a tube steak but I just wasn't attracted to her so your mileage may vary in terms of liking the action.

Scene Five: Angela, a shorter version of Brody, had the next scene with Van after Monica introduced them. Her sexual skill was far less refined than most of the others here (okay, I'm being too generous; all of the women here) but the scene wasn't really terrible as they screwed in the bathroom on the counter. I'd do her myself but watching her with Van really didn't do a lot for me since she mostly sat back and took his hammering at her pussy.

Scene Six: Monica, back to her regular blonde hair, tempted Anthony on her bed as she stroked her pitchfork. I've seen him in action dozens of times and figured he'd bring some extra passion to the mix. Thankfully, I was correct in my guess and he did, in fact, add something to the action from the moment he went down on her until the last drop of splooge hit her. They did the usual oral, reciprocation and vaginal sex acts but I think she liked working with him and the scene was more heated as a result.

Summary: She Devil wasn't Monica's best work and while her fans will definitely want to purchase their own copy, I think a rating of Rent It is a better status for the rest of you out there. The sex was decent most of the time and the cast had a couple of cuties but the lack of extras, the limitations of the other gals, and the minimalist nature of the show kept me from being able to rate it higher. I like Monica a lot and hope her next release is better but this wasn't anything special unless you're a fan of hers.
