Extras: The best extra by far was the 15:31 minute long Behind the Scenes feature where Manuel interviewed the ladies in various states of undress, Ash Hollywood smoking a cancer stick and blowing him but all parties enjoying the verbal bantering. There was also a pop shot compilation (lasting 7:20 minutes and having all the ladies blowing/jerking Manuel off into their mouths to swallow his loads) from the four scenes and a slideshow but neither added any value for me like the BTS did.

Audio/Video Quality: Manuel’s POV was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Manuel Ferrara for Hard X. As expected, the point of view (POV) method was used by the director, his efforts for big companies like Jules Jordan Video and Evil Angel garnering a great deal of positive press as he routinely wins awards and nominations using the process. The lighting was decent and the camera fairly steady, the attention given to the ladies as they sexually engaged the most popular male performer in various acts of depravity. The flesh tones were accurate too, some compression artifacts observed when watched on a quality big screen television but less so on a far smaller computer monitor. The aural components were presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo format added in post production, the vocals on the low side at times but not dubbed in and generally clear, little music getting in the way other than during credits.

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara is a male performer turned director that is in perhaps the greatest demand of any male in the jizz biz these days, the ladies adoring him and his humble attitude about his work never allowing him to take credit for his works, the guy usually praising the women while taking any blame that comes up himself. While he is currently directing most of his titles in a distribution deal with Evil Angel and allegedly shoots on the side for JJV, he seems to be dabbling with Hard X too, the popular company the home of luminaries such as Mason and William H. Nutsack these days, the core of Elegant Angel’s success a few years back. Manuel’s first movie for the company sounds much like a few of his recent titles elsewhere with Manuel’s POV, the premise being that he holds the camera as he has sex with a quartet of attractive ladies such as Ash Hollywood, Katie St. Ives, Adriana Chechik, and Bailey Blue (as Dahlia Sky); all familiar territory given his extensive resume with most established women in the industry. While that could be a bad thing for many lower quality mopes, Manuel always manages to get the best out of the ladies, my expectations high regarding the results here. The back cover described the movie like this: “Award winning Best New Studio, Hard X, proudly presents "Manuel's POV," featuring four eager starlets, in intense and passionate POV scenarios. Watch as reigning AVN male performer of the year, Manuel Ferrara, captures intimate POV experiences with Dahlia Sky (anal), Ash Hollywood, Katie St. Ives, and Adriana Chechik (anal). Do not miss this latest POV release.” Heres a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:
