Audio/Video Quality: Ass Versus Pussy 2 was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director B. Skow for Girlfriends Films. Using a high definition camera, Skow did the camera work himself and Jean Claud Van Dammit was the credited editor, fewer angles than the first one showed (or more aggressive cuts) but looking good all the same. There was no continuous company watermark on the screen and while certain portions of the footage looked like a filter was used to soften the image, the overall look of the show was solid. The aural components were uncredited this time but the 2.0 Dolby Digital encoding added during post production was clear and mixed well with the limited amounts of music. The music did have some separation to it, I double checked with headphones to make sure, but the vocals appeared to be captured in monaural.

Body of Review: B. Skow is one of my personal favorite directors these days, his creativity and willingness to try new things setting him above most of the pack of pretenders. His current distribution deal with Girlfriends Films has given him more freedom to explore different possibilities, his latest venture called Ass Versus Pussy 2; a showcase to compare hotty newcomer Megan Rain against seasoned industry veteran Adriana Chechik, both well recognized as popular performers. Having enjoyed the first volume of the series enough to sing its praises, the title getting nominations for various awards, I hoped this new pairing would be as good, both ladies well versed in the anal arts and over the top performances some people really like (and Megan a top three contender for “best new starlet of the year) last year against some premium competition.
