Audio/Video: The audio and video of the scenes were not shot in digitally. It was far from bad, just a partial step down from Private's incredible standard of excellence in production values. This is due to the scenes being shot nearly ten years ago as this DVD focuses on Pierre Woodman's mid 90s accomplishments.

Extras:
The DVD starts out with a trailer for the new blockbuster trilogy, Private Chateau directed by Pierre Woodman. The trailer runs for around 3 minutes and looks stunning in the same genre of other blockbusters by Private such as Tatiana & Gladiator. Additional Trailers for the title feature and other titles such as "The Private life of Christina Belle", "Sex Thriller", "Beauties of the Tropix", "The Private Adventures of Pierre Woodman 2", and "XXX 19" are also present on the DVD. There is a 4.5 minute featurette of Pierre Woodman's exotic shoots including Canada, the Caribbean, Budapest, Bali, Canes & Paris in trailer like fashion, focusing on the natural beauty of the environment than the beauty of the models. There is the normal scene selection and your language and subtitle choice as on all Private DVDs. There are backstage photos, scenes photos and humorous photos, mostly of Pierre and various exotic animals and models in compromised positions. There are production notes, a cast listing and promotion of Private products and their company for investor purposes. Once Private posts their annual report with accompanying financial statements on their DVDs, I will quit watching porn. No, no I won't. There is some fun material in the extras, which is worth a look, especially those interested on how adult films are made.

Body of Review:
Pierre Woodman is one of the most well reputed adult film directors in the world. This DVD, entitled "Coming of Age" directed by the famous Woodman made me immediately think that Woodman was going after models who just turned of legal age. This is not that DVD. This DVD is a compilation of Pierre Woodman's career "Coming of Age" and deals with some of his favorite and most challenging directorial productions in late 1995 through 1996. Each chapter begins with an interview with Pierre Woodman talking about the challenges and his experiences of shooting in exotic locations in the mid 1990s. The scenes were obviously dated, but amazingly shows that Pierre Wood has been creating intensely hot scenes for over an incredibly long period of time.

Scene 1: Blondie & Demia Moore from "Cape Town 2", December 1995

Demia Moore & Blondie drive up with their two male companions in a convertible BMW to a rocky seaside location of South Africa. An intense oral session back-dropped against the large brown rocks besides a blue ocean show where Pierre Woodman gets his reputation. Blondie is an incredibly cute woman with small breasts and incredibly petite figure, while Demia is equally as beautiful, but with dark hair and long legs. After the oral was done, the two couples began with some cowgirl action, reverse & traditional, on various ridges of the rock structure. Even though, multiple couples can be challenging to shoot, Pierre Woodman managed to incorporate both couples in a lot of the shots between close-ups. The guys go anal on both girls and then combine forces and hand out double penetrations to both appreciative ladies. The girls finish the guys by going back to blowing each of them and receive facials for the efforts. A decade later, Pierre's scenes still bring the heat.

Scene 2: Blondie from "Kruger Park", December 1995

The little Russian, Blondie is back and this time has three guys in safari attire all to herself in a large African hut. This scene was actually shot in Africa and just so we are aware of this fact, Blondie sported an "Africa" T-shirt. Thankfully, she didn't have this on long. Unfortunately, after the T-shirt and kaki shorts were removed we were forced to look at frilly underwear circa 1995. The Safari team once again came to the viewers rescue and removed them quickly to reveal a lovely breasts and a bald muff. The three ravaged Blondie and kept two of her three available holes filled the vast majority of the time. This did leave to a sense of "odd man out" a bit, as there was a good period of video time of a guy standing around stroking. Blondie looked stunning and energetic getting poked and prodded from all angles including anal and a DP while giving head. The climactic shot was two guys jerking all over her face while the bottom man was working her reverse cowgirl only to pull out and spray Safari Semen over her tight belly. This scene, clothes notwithstanding, could be placed amongst any anyone of Private's recent best.

Scene 3: Myriad of Models from "The Pyramid", April 1996

The next scene was shot in Egypt and featured the dream of any straight able bodied 18 year old boy: A room full of women, ready to service his every desire. The women were dressed in mid-eastern attire representing a harem. One lucky man does his best to try and nail every one of the 15 plus models in the room. I lost track of his final statistics, but he gave it a good run. He made his way through the room screwing all he could in a variety of positions, including anal while the other ladies rolled their beans around or provided oral comfort to one another. Five women assisted him with his release orally. This scene, due to the nature of it, I found very distracting and not up to par with the rest of the disc. No rhythm could be established with the constant switching of partners.

Scene 4: Tania Russoff from "The Pyramid 2", April 1996

Tania Russoff defines beauty. The raven haired model of Latvian decent is playing a royal character and is being bathed by four naked handmaidens when the king enters the pool-like Egyptian bath. After a brief exchange, the girls were ordered out and Tania services him orally in the bath, still in full tunic. He wisely bends her over and works her beautiful figure over a railing. The two make there way around the bath working cowgirl and missionary. Tania also gets rectally examined in doggy and reverse cowgirl before a wet royal facial is administered. Due to the extreme beauty of Tania, this scene would have been good if it showed twenty minutes of Tania brushing her teeth. Pierre Woodman made it exceptional.

Scene 5: Nikky Andersson from "Sweet Baby", October 1996

A prowler makes his way into the bedroom of ample breasted blonde, Nikky Anderson in full ski mask and jeans. After roughly throwing Nikky to the floor, the obviously aroused Nikky begins to show off what she's made of and gets on all fours on the bed. The intruder, taking the hint, immediately goes for Nikky's brown eye and sodomizes her like the law was coming. As a reward for turning her brown eye red, Nikky tastes his cock for an extended period of time before going back for some reverse cowgirl anal. After getting over the initial creepy 'rape' feel to the scene, is turned very watch-able. Not one of the best, but entertaining enough.

Scene 6: Jeanette from "The Fugitive", December 1996

The final scene in the disc was shot in Australia where a dark haired Hungarian model is flying in a seaplane with a male companion. They land on a secluded beach and in the lovely fantasy land of porn, begin to engage in heated sex right there in the surf. It was a beautiful looking scene with the sex in the foreground on the beach with a seaplane on a bright blue ocean in the background. After a short blow job, the couple moved to vaginal intercourse in a variety of position, followed by anal cowgirl in the surf. The scene ended with a facial during a post sex 69 session. A very solid scene to end the disc.

Summary:
I generally dislike compilations due to the obvious attempt by the studios to squeeze additional revenue out of customers without having to pay for additional production costs. This DVD, however, is recommended and brings to light some of Pierre Woodman's best scenes from 10 years ago.
