The Movie:

Belladonna's latest is once again a return to guy-girl sex as opposed to the girl on girl material she's been concentrating on with the Fucking Girls and Fetish Fanatic series'. This shot on digital video production looks pretty clean presented here in a reasonably stable 1.33.1 fullframe presentation. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident throughout in the darker scenes. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (though some of the camera work in a couple of spots is quite shaky), and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything looks as good as you'd realistically expect it to.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. There is no background music used anywhere during the feature aside from the opening credits and the levels do tend to fluctuate quite a bit from scene to shining scene but aside from that there isn't much to whine about here. The audio is fine.

Extras:

The first disc is barebones save for a weblink and a chapter selection menu. The second disc, however, contains a length behind the scenes documentary that gives us a look at how each of the five scenes in the feature were shot. Bella's (19:19) starts off with her getting her head shaved then shows her posing for the photo shoot for the cover with the sack over her head. From there we see her getting her nipples pierced (ouch!) and that's more or less it. Lexi's BTS segment (5:39) shows her prepping for her scene and then shows her in action. After the come shot she gives a brief interview with goop running down her face. Marie's segment (2:39) shows her relaxing on the couch and answering some questions for the camera before going down on her co-star and letting him drill her ass. Regan Reese's segment (27:40) shows a conversation between her and her co-star with some input from some of the crewmembers and from Belladonnna. Last but not least, Rebecca's BTS segment (35:19) shows her talking things over with her co-star before branching off into fuck footage.

Final Thoughts:

Iodine Girl probably isn't going to be something you'll sit down with your respective other to watch, it's simply full on gonzo hardcore with some creative flourishes and a nice cast of good looking ladies. It's well done, well shot, and it looks good and this two-disc set contains some solid behind the scenes material to add some value to the package. Recommended.
