Scene one: Abella Danger and Steven St. Croix

Sleeping with Danger is billed as a “parody” of the 1991 Julia Roberts film Sleeping with the Enemy (which I remember getting caught trying to sneak into when I was 12). Roberts plays a woman who fakes her own death to escape her controlling husband. I put parody in quotes because it’s not very humorous or satirical, but updates the plot with more fucking.

The first scene opens with Abella Danger playing the wife and Steven St. Croix being the controlling husband. They exchange gifts and it slowly leads into sex. He whispers to her how he wants her to suck his cock. Abella is the sexpot brunette looks incredibly beautiful in her red dress and he’s effective as the rich asshole. Final thoughts:

There were a few things I liked about the movie (particularly the female stars are all gorgeous and I like seeing them on-screen), but there were many, many more things I didn’t like. I think remaking a thriller like Sleeping with the Enemy is a poor idea for porn because it makes sexual arousal such a low priority. That there was also a depiction of domestic violence made it impossible for me, even with the revenge comeuppance. The climactic final scene was campy. I’m pretty sure I’ve praised nearly everyone involved in the film in other projects, but this is one I just can’t get behind. I just couldn’t find anything I could support to say this movie was worth your time. I’m sorry, but skip this one.
