Audio/Video Quality: Mick’s Anal Teens 2 was shot in anamorphic widescreen as credited to directors Mick Blue and Maestro Claudio for Evil Angel under their “BAM Visions” label. If you’ve seen one of Mike Adriano’s movies for Evil Angel, you’ll know how co-director Claudio does a fine job making sure there is an abundance of lighting both in and outside the house, his steady hand and skills with framing the picture allowing for the kind of close up shots that don’t make folks ill with motion sickness like many of his peers provide. The flesh tones were accurate, there were modest numbers of compression artifacts watching the movie on a large screen television, and the resolution was in the usual 720 X 480 you expect from a DVD (the website has higher resolution versions available). There was a omnipresent company watermark on the lower right corner of the screen at all times but it was light and Claudio took steps to minimize how much action took place in that area of the picture, the man balancing out a mixture of shots to keep it interesting when watching the lengthy scenes that averaged an hour in length each. The aural components were decent but largely the same as you will find on most gonzo endeavors, the primary voices easily heard and some whispered directions or comments heard if you pay close attention. The music was limited in terms of the credits, none heard during a scene, but no separation noted even when I listened with headphones to the stereo AC3 codec audio. Regardless, there did not appear to be any dubbing and the ambient noises were kept to a minimum.

Body of Review: Mick Blue has been a popular performer and director for many companies over the years (under many aliases), the Austrian long noted for his blue eyes and sexual stamina, the man winning the male performer of the year award at AVN this year. Maestro Claudio has also been an established force in directing, though he is not often credited as such in his popular works with Mike Adriano of late. Both men have teamed up with Mick’s exceptionally hot wife, Anikka Albrite, to form a company at Evil Angel under the “Bam Visions” label recently, their latest title called Mick’s Anal Teens 2. In short, Mick’s Anal Teens 2 was well worth picking up for gonzo fans, the production like an upgraded Mike Adriano flick without the silly stuff and a better male performer yet providing the higher quality technical aspects from Mike’s older works courtesy of Claudio and his editor wife, so check it out.
