The Movie:

Hustler’s Barely Legal 126 is quite literally more of the same, but if nothing else it gets the ‘young horny girl’ part right and for most of us, this reviewer included, that’s what matters most. Throw in the fact that this time around there’s some ‘first timers’ on board, and you’ve got a pretty nice release, but let’s face it, nobody involved with this series is trying to break the mould. On the flip side, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? There’s no story here, no real set up, just five young ladies in five brand new scenes ready to get fucked with Otto Bauer behind the camera once again to show you how it all goes down. Here’s a look:

Scene 1 – Abbie Anderson And Eric John : Abbie has got nice strawberry blonde hair that goes down past her shoulders. We meet her when she’s hanging out talking with a friend but once that friend splits and Eric shows up, she decides it’s time for some fun and starts taking off her clothes. She wastes very little time getting down and going down, something Eric seems to appreciate, and once she’s had her throat full of cock he spreads her legs and returns the favor, using his tongue and finger on her to nice effect. Barely Legal 126 looks good in this 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer though quality does very a bit from scene to scene – in fact, parts of it looks to have been shot intentionally soft. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction looks okay even if and skin tones are way too orange. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot just a hint of shimmer here and there but you do have to be looking for it to notice it.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this DVD release is a Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine. Dialogue stays clean and clear throughout and the levels are all properly balanced. The score sounds good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. The audio here won't blow you away but it certainly won't disappoint you either.

Extras:

Extras are very slim this time around, and identical to those found on most of the recent releases in the series, limited to a quick, five minute documentary that gives a very brief history of the infamous Barely Legal series of movies entitled Barely Legal: How It All Began, which has been included on all of the recent releases in the line. Aside from that, you get menus, chapter selection and a bunch of irritating advertisements that play before the menu loads, a very basic still gallery, some trailers and some phone sex and web advertisements. Yawn.

Final Thoughts:

The extras are nothing to get excited about, they just recycle past content, but as always the presentation is pretty decent and the content delivers. Otto Bauer has been doing well with the series since taking it over and he’s consistently delivered solid scenes of PYT’s getting reamed - Barely Legal 126 is no exception. Recommended.
