Audio/Video Quality: Girls of Summer was presented in a crisp anamorphic widescreen offering as shot by new director Billy Visual for Digital Playground. Sir Richard Manwin III Billy Da Kid were credited with working cameras, Nick P., Keethan Hawke, Evulatheng, and PJ Bronson handling editing, and a large group of others providing their own technical assistance like Kylie Ireland & Andy Appleton handling the art. There was an attempt to give this one some of the larger scale a few of the company’s other websites have offered up but on a tighter budget, something succeeding better than others yet it looked pretty good. The aural qualities by Seth Cardigan were modest but presented in a post production added 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround, the elevated bit rate of 448 Kbps not hurting the ability to hear the vocals, some pretty good music included though it wasn’t credited to anyone.

Body of Review: Digital Playground has been a leader in feature porn for years now, their latest is from brand new director Billy Visual coming out with a web series called Girls of Summer, now released on a double disc set after its initial web run starting July 23, 2014. The show had eight episodes of varying lengths and offered a light story of a group of women that hang out each summer doing what all porn chicks do in such movies; fuck anything that moves (more or less). Starring lovely ladies such as Aaliyah Love, Stevie Shae, Destiny Dixon, Chloe Amour, and Alexis Adams, it was a lighthearted show with limited drama but each episode providing some strokability.

The back cover said: “It’s a coming of age story as five gorgeous chicks meet every summer to let their horny selves loose! These hotties share a sisterhood that can’t be broken, but drama steeps in when Destiny Dixon conceals a naughty secret and bangs her friend’s ex-boyfriend! Ultimately, these girls overcome their issues to explore their bodies and sexuality. All five leave with an even bigger bond than before and add to their list of sexual conquests. Summer may come and go but these ladies will always be best friends for life!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: The Deep End: Aaliyah Love, the perky blond shown on the middle of the front cover in a blue bikini, was up first on the beach with Tyler Nixon. My main reason for picking this out was the inclusion of Aaliyah Love and Destiny Dixon but Stevie Shae, Chloe Amour, Alexis Adams, and Abigail Mac were all very attractive too. The feature elements were far less ambitious than movies such as 4Ever or Crave with the movie offering the depth of a spring puddle but it looked good and was considered a modest hit as the episodes were released one at a time. In short, Girls of Summer was a flimsy excuse to string 8 short sex scenes together in the guise of a movie or web series but there was enough eye candy that fans of ladies such as Aaliyah Love or Stevie Shae will want to pick up a copy for their collection so check it out.
