Extra's: The best extra was the 6.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature as it spent a lot of time with Jake Malone having Rebeca Linares tease the camera for the vast majority of the time. There was a bit between lighting guy Dex and John Strong that was funny but it was very short. There was also a cumshot recap, a photogallery, and a double sided DVD cover (covers of other releases only).

Audio/Video Quality: Perversions Unleashed was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by Jake Malone and others (no one was credited as director but he was the most verbal) for release by Red Light District. The lighting was generally decent, leading to limited grain and other visual problems but the composition of several of the scenes seemed "off" in some ways, with the camera a bit too aggressive on zooms and the editing too passive to remove the faulty footage. That distracted from the heat a fair bit but not as much as the majority of performances so the technical aspects were not the primary reason why I wasn't into the movie. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English with no separation and limited dynamic range, the levels of the vocals set a little on the low side but at least the music was only used in the opening tease portions of the scenes.

Body of Review: Red Light District has been a force in the porn world, opening up the floodgates for the huge volume of other companies that followed their lead and broke away from the pack in recent years. Their directors were given incentives to make the best material possible, resulting in low cost but high quality stroke movies that often showcased some fine up and comers in the field. Sadly though, economic times being what they are, the ability of the company to continue providing such lucrative deals to their directors dried up so many of them left for greener pastures, forcing Red Light to find a new breed of director that would work on fees instead of getting ownership of the material, removing the incentives mentioned previously. Their latest release is also number 416 out of the company, called Perversions Unleashed, a selection of scenes with little underlying relationship to one another, apparently shot by more than one director (Jake Malone was clearly at the helm for the second scene) and amounted to someone cleaning out the vaults of leftover scenes that hadn't been used previously. It wasn't the worst flick I've seen in recent years but only one scene worked for me in any major way so your mileage will vary if you're not a fan of the cast. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Aaliyah Jolie and Angel Long, both tall and leggy blondes that weren't credited on the cover anywhere, were up first as they played with one another outside during a tease sequence in some tiny bikini's that did little to cover their all natural frames. This led to them on the generic living room couch as they masturbated with some red sex toys, tasting them before being joined by John Strong and Sascha. The men walked in naked and the ladies responded by sucking them off with sloppy blowjobs; Angel tossing John's salad for an extended period of time while claiming to want his dick. John then started banging her ass while the other two caught up, Angel looking far more capable of the power stroke anal action than Aaliyah. They swapped partners, did some ATM/ATOGM, and then did DP's with the two gals in succession; Angel always seeming better equipped to handle the action as she actively rode the cock. There was a fair amount of additional anal and oral going on after that with Angel providing some dirty talk to enhance the scene before the inevitable pop shots to the mouths of the ladies that were swapped. It was a decidedly mixed scene with Angel always doing more and better, resulting in the ladies swallowing to close but not a lot of chemistry.

Scene Two: Rebeca Linares, the hotty on the front DVD cover with the awesome ass, was up next as she teased the camera wearing her cover outfit as she climbed the staircase inside. The music was thankfully understated but it served to give the sexy Latina a nice spotlight tease performance before she took care of Jean Claude Baptiste and John Strong on the couch. Once the tease was done with, she used anal beads to stretch her ass as director Jake Malone talked about it being her 23rd birthday and assisted her. This led to a glass dildo and ATM before the guys walked in to start providing her their cocks to suck (and to play with her ass like most of us would if given the chance). Scene Three: Lystra, a skinny 22 year old Asian with red streaks in her hair, was up next as she discussed her favorite sex acts on the couch in her generic underwear. I prefer some meat on the bones and she creeped me out as looking underage (and boyish) but Jerry didn't mind as he went down on her. This led to the weakest blowjob of the movie and a correspondingly weak vaginal ride as she let him do all the work while she just lied back and made some moans. If you're looking for a passive cock socket, she'll appeal more to you than she did to me, with the scene ending with his moderate load hitting her face and chest.

Scene Five: Alicia Angel and Isabel Ice, a couple of major hotties with great bodies and seductive expressions, were up next as they teased the camera in black outfits outside. Alicia was initially in charge of warming Isabel up but this soon led to them swapping roles during the lesbian antics, and then moving their act indoors. Fans of large anal plugs and ATM will get a treat as the dup did a fine job together before John Strong entered the scene. The gals double teamed his cock orally before he went right to hammering away anally, both gals riding him and assisting the other very nicely. There was dirty talk and I felt them getting off a few times with the performance aspects of the scene keeping it from being a great scene (too mechanical) but it was easily the best scene of the movie (talk about setting the bar too low). It ended after a lot more screwing, both gals perched on their knees to receive his wad with a little twisted displacement action (spewing it into anal cavities and then back into mouths).

Summary: Perversions Unleashed was one of the weakest efforts by Red Light District that I can recall in recent memory. There was precious little perversion going on and few of the gals seemed to be unleashed from doing anything out of the ordinary, marking it as a title best reserved for slavering fanboys of the cast. I liked the final scene of the movie a fair bit but it couldn't save the flick from generi-porn obscurity, looking mostly like a flick one of the company's competitors would offer up as "movie of the year" in marketing hype. That said, I felt obligated to rate Perversions Unleashed as a Skip It unless you are willing to set the bar far lower than Red Light is known for, with my suggestion being that you simply keep looking through their back catalog for far better porn (they probably have four hundred titles better than this one).
