Extras: The best extra in my book was the 14 minute POV blowjob that Sophie Dee gave some uncredited guy after teasing the camera. It was well done and added some solid replay value to the DVD. There was also another round of "lost footage" lasting about 11 minutes that showcased Julia Bond and Sophie Dee giving handjobs to a couple of guys (one was named Roach) that would otherwise never score so well without laying out some serious cash. This led to an 8.5 minute Behind the Scenes feature that had some of the cast doing more of the usual Shane's World antics, prancing around drunk and naked in public, and otherwise enjoying their time. There were cast biographies for most of the ladies, a photogallery, and trailers to shows like Guide to Anal Sex, Shane's World, Shane's World: Nerdz.

Audio/Video Quality: Girls Night Out 2 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by Penny Flame for release by the Shane's World line for New Sensations. The series is supposed to look like it was shot by an amateur, something like many other Pro-Am series, and it did in virtually all scenes (though Penny is far too vocal to let me think she clammed up in the scenes she wasn't heard in). The lighting would wash out the fleshtones, the camera would lose focus, and the composition of the shots varied at times but the raw energy of the show remained intact as the series tends to be good at. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio was decent but I didn't notice a lot of separation between the channels (the center channel provided pretty much all of the sound) and the dynamic range was about average for the series. The technical values in general were once again decent but a bit more work might help them even more in the future.

Body of Review: Shane's World has long been one of the better series for conveying a sense of fun along with the kind of variety most porn production companies seem afraid to attempt. In that sense, I hope their recent hiring of Devinn Lane, doesn't lowered the fun factor since her previous work has never quite fit the mold of the SW world. Last year though, someone took a chance and hired the amusing and lovely Penny Flame to direct Girls Night Out 2: Collector's Edition seeing as how great a job she did in the initial volume of the series. This time, the cast and crew went to San Diego to work up the locals, with less emphasis on giving out free handjobs and settling for more professional, though still varied and fun, scenes. If you've liked previous volumes in the multitude of Shane's World series, this will also appeal to you as the cast was primed for fun and shaking their buns all over the place. Here's a breakdown of the scenes as best I could determine, given that the men were not identified at all:

Scene One: Aaliyah Jolie and Isis Love, a couple of generic porn gals with all natural bodies, were up first in bed with little warning and no set up as they enjoyed Jack Venice pounding away like a madman. I used to hate his bandolier leg tattoo but it helps to identify him so readily that I gave in long ago. The gals swapped places as they went down on each other as he porked them doggy style, changing to missionary and back before he rubbed out a facial that made it look like he'd taken a few days off from working.

Scene Two: Courtney Simpson, the blonde on the lower left hand corner of the front DVD cover, was up first after some party footage starring her and Sophie Dee, with a guy I presume is named Derrick Pierce, given his extensive collection of body art. The two were shown macking out at the party and they carried it on into the bedroom where they each seemed to enjoy the company of the other. After feeling each other up and extensively kissing, they took off their own clothes and started getting more intimate with him going down on her for a bit and then boning her pussy. She was a decent ride although he shouldn't quit his day job as a walking billboard for the errors of tattoos, and I thought her flexibility with the split was great just before he launched his little load onto her ass cheeks.

Scene Three: Alektra Blue, a pretty brunette with icy blue eyes and a lean figure, was up next with James Deen in a living room. This scene started underway too, leading me to think there were some problems with the early footage by the fledgling director though Alektra gave some great head worthy of inclusion anywhere short of a gay video. After the sloppy blowjob, he took her from behind, pulling her hair and acting like he had grown some balls by spanking her and otherwise appearing rougher than his usual act. She was an active participant as he drilled her pussy in numerous positions, getting in some PTM before he popped in her mouth.

Scene Four: Julia Bond, the lead gal of the show as seen featured on the right hand side of the front DVD cover, and Sophie Dee, were up next after the cast enjoyed the party in the hot tub by turning everyone on. Scene Five: Sophie Dee, the British gal who got horned up by giving out handjobs, was up next with Jenner on the bed after leaving the others downstairs. I was sure Penny was in charge of the camera here thanks to her commentary and the way the camera shook a lot. Sophie stripped his clothes off and started blowing him energetically before she took off her own limited outfit. Scene Six: Julia Bond, easily the cutest gal of the flick in most ways, was up next on the couch with Jerry after some bar footage was displayed. Scene Eight: Penny Flame, aroused to the point where she needed to get in on some of the action, decided to get some action from a skinhead at a tattoo parlor. Whether or not he was Derrick Pierce, I couldn't say for sure but he sure seemed to appreciate her oral skills with his admittedly modest member. The two screwed all over the place, with her doing a lot of the work and grinding her hips like a seasoned professional in search of a load. This was perhaps the best scene of the movie for the way they seemed to match each other's personality so well (lots of chemistry, energy, and passion), ending with a major facial.

Scene Nine: Mika Tan, a sweet looking brunette of Asian heritage, was up next as she rented an action flick and invited Sascha over to watch it. Thankfully, the only action we had to put up with was the two of them going at it on the couch with lots of foreplay, oral, and screwing. Summary: Girls Night Out 2 was a lot of fun thanks in no small part to Penny Flame directing it but also the great cast. It was significantly different from the opening volume of the series so your mileage may vary from mine but it was easily worth a rating of Recommended. The amount of fuck for the buck, the cast, the action and sexual heat were all well handled with some good extras to top off this collector's volume of the series. In short, Girls Night Out 2: Collector's Edition was the kind of fun I've come to expect of the series with lots of stroke value and replay capability for those who appreciate fine porn with all the rough edges intact.
