Extra's: Like most of the Shane's World releases of late, there were some good extras with my favorite being the 25.5 minute long bonus scene between Faith Leon and Jack Venice as described below. It seemed longer than the scenes from the movie and had some sweet appeal since she seemed to appreciate him a lot. I also really liked the 17 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage. The cast was having a lot of fun and I enjoyed watching it; especially for the extra sex and nudity, much of which centered on Casey. Fans of hers into urination might like that about a minute into it, she was taking a leak in the bushes; in plain view of the camera. It showed a playful side of things that fans will appreciate, as well as tips for how to enjoy the sun since the cast were getting tired from dehydration. There was also a photogallery, and trailers to shows like Casey Parker: The Girl Next Door, College Invasion 9, Blazed & Confused 1, Blazed & Confused 2, Oral Supremacy, Pork BBQ, Guide To Anal Sex, Girls Night Out 1, Girls Night Out 2, Shane's World 37, Shane's World 36, Shane's World, and Shane's World: Nerdz as well.

Audio/Video Quality: Shane's World 39: Casey's Pool Party was presented in the fetching 1.85:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by another Uncredited Director for Shane's World. This was a first for the company that had long shot full frame porn, a step forward towards their inevitable high definition productions released in HD DVD and/or Blu-Ray (I hope). In any case, that they have actively started the process of recording in high definition is cause for celebration as it prepares them to move forward so I wasn't too bummed out that the picture was not as sharp as it should have been this time. The bright sun seemed to wash out a lot of the performers when they were in the direct light outdoors and the shaded areas inside were too dark by comparison. Still, most people buy titles from the company for the raw energy and enthusiasm over the technical excellence so I really can't complain too loudly as the gals were all fit and they liked the action at least as much as the men. The camera seemed to follow the usual idea of simply recording what was happening and letting the editor worry about honing the end result over specifically directly the action as most porn does. Once again, it worked well and the cast was allowed to naturally enjoy the sex acts with one another. There were minimal cases of compression artifacts and fans will appreciate that the company is finally moving into the future with HD. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English, with the vocals clearly understood in most of the scenes (not quite as well in the BTS or bonus scene) and little music to get in the way of the action. The background noises seemed natural and fitting for the scenes too.

Body of Review: Casey Parker is the hotty contract gal at Shane's World who has already gained a tremendous fanbase according to those who know about such things, largely due to the way she fits in with the market niche the company addresses (college age males that enjoy something different from their porn; not wanting stuffy features or lame gonzo). In her second release for the company, Shane's World 39: Casey's Pool Party: Collector's Edition she once again lights up the small screen with her antics, this time as the result of a pool party that has no rules. The back cover said it like this: "Grab a towel, you're sitting in the splash zone for the Pool Party. Casey decided to invite all her new friends over for what turned into a summertime fuckfest! Casey and Justice played "chicken fight" and "hide the sausage". Tommy and Mia got down in the grass while Lexi and Mysti decided to share Johnny in a threeway. If that sounds as good to you as it did to me, you won't need to read the rest of the review but here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used, nor were any strangers given handjobs:

Scene One: Casey Parker, the blonde featured on the right hand side of the front DVD cover, was up first after the entire cast played water volleyball (with a "you're your top off" rule in effect). He moved over to suck off Justice Young in the pool, showing that she had picked up a few tricks since she last graced the small screen. With solid extras and a lot of fuck for the buck, Shane's World 39: Casey's Pool Party: Collector's Edition became a title worthy of being Highly Recommended by me for all it had to offer. The stroke and replay value, the fun factor, and the pool party theme were all enough to push the movie up just enough to make it but fans of traditional porn may find it too liberating to enjoy so your mileage may vary.
