Extras: Those that like additional scenes will appreciate the bonus scene from The AJ Bailey Experiment that lasted 32:38 minutes so I described it in detail below. The best related extra was the 14:36 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Mike Marovich, the cast and crew getting a few moments to discuss aspects of their lives, AJ Bailey and others enjoying that someone still makes original features. There was also a photogallery, some trailers, spam, and positions menu's stuffed inside the scene selection part of the disc.

Audio/Video Quality: Scared Sexy was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color it was shot in by director B. Skow for Vivid Entertainment using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec in 480 resolution. For those unfamiliar with his background, suffice it to say that his experience outside of porn is superior to many inside the industry and it shows up in his movies, including this one as shot in 1080i/60 high definition late last year, though presented in the SD format (for now). The lighting was well handled and this added to the pleasure of watching the gals in play as the lengthy scenes gave them enough freedom to explore their sexuality. The composition of the camera angles and lighting were almost always optimal this time, Skow seeing fit to try and enhance the look of the ladies at every turn as possible, Fletcher Martin assisted by Alex Fuentes for editing the production with some care. The fleshtones were accurate too and the DVD mastering was well done (the bitrate hovering around 4.9 Mbps), making it a mixed bag in terms of visual quality; leaning towards above average though the company watermark will be bothersome to many out there. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in 256 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering with the vocals sounding flat and the music pretty decent. The aural qualities of the movie appeared to offer some separation and increased dynamic range, the vocals easily heard and mixed in with the ambient noises as well as music.

Body of Review: B. Skow is best known for his "Brand New Faces" series and straightforward gonzo outings where he showcases the ladies for Vivid Entertainment but he has been expanding his role of late with features and vignette titles like Scared Sexy too. This time, there were a series of five vignettes dedicated to horror and suspense fans, each adding a twisted bit of humor like so many anthology series in the mainstream genre have for decades. The big name of the flick was AJ Bailey but she had ladies like Misty Stone, Vanessa Leon, Charley Chase, and Krissy Lynn on back up, each of them adding something to the final mix. The back cover described the outing like this: "You know how every scary film starts? You meet the villain, the hot babe and sometimes even the murder weapon. Well, when it's B. Skow, the babe digs black dick, there's interracial everywhere, and the weapon is probably a big-ass two-headed dildo! Scared Sexy...with four cum-drenched black/white scenes, and starring hot new, lilly-white Vivid Girl AJ Bailey. Scared Sexy. It's scary. It's sexy. It's a gasp. It's a gas." The suspense aspect of the vignettes was well played if limited, the sexual chemistry of most scenes providing some replayability and additional stroke value over the generic offerings of the competition. In short, as pointed out by my associate Apache Warrior, Scared Sexy was a movie to look for and find entertaining, AJ Bailey again shining as a contract starlet worth following.
