The lengthy BTS by Jacky herself was comprised solely of cast interviews (not just the women too), some bantering between the director and cast making it stand out.

Audio/Video Quality: Boss Fantasies was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations. Using the talents of Paul Woodcrest and Eddie Powell on cameras, editor Gabrielle Anex, and the usual crew responsible for the company’s best efforts, Jacky applied the technical team much like she does on her other works to get things looking and sounding great. The flesh tones were accurate and the composition of most camera angles looked good, the editing as smooth as ever to draw attention away from the technical side so viewers can just enjoy the resulting four vignettes. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen for those who care. The aural components were satisfying too, the music, vocals, and ambient sounds all blended in for a welcome upgrade from the plethora of generic sounding releases I put up with on a weekly basis. As with the visual aspects of the movie, the audio portion was handled nicely, perhaps other companies will start paying more attention too.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is a popular director at New Sensations, her various releases garnering substantial acclaim in recent years. Her latest release is called Boss Fantasies, a set of four vignettes showing a different approach from the relationship shorts the company has focused on of late, the romantic encounters with work mates more in tune with societal norms. With first rate babes like AJ Applegate, Skin Diamond, Chanel Preston, and Karla Kush and guys like Stephen St. Croix on hand to make the trysts work (no pun intended), I figured this one would be pretty solid. The back cover said this about the feature: “The forbidden attraction Hannah and her boss have for one another explodes after they share a private moment alone together at a company party. Elena and her boss find themselves getting caught up in the heat of the moment when they reminisce about a one-time sexual encounter. Resentful that his philandering coworker got promoted over him, Jonathan unleashes his frustration on a beautiful, young woman interviewing for a job. In order to stay in the good graces of his domineering boss, William surrenders to her physical demands, even after announcing his recent engagement.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Dangerous: AJ Applegate, a beautiful blond hotty, was up first at a party wearing a colorfully tight dress when she ducked into a side room where her boss, Ritchie Calhoun was relaxing. Summary: Boss Fantasies by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations came out last month and I admit that I haven’t heard a peep about it via the grapevine but the movie had enough strokability and replay value to merit a healthy Recommended for a general audience, especially those that might still shy away from Jacky’s darker themed works. AJ Applegate looked as smoking hot as ever, curvy Chanel Preston was a welcome addition, exotic Skin Diamond added something special and cute newcomer Karla Kush continues to ascend the porn pantheon at an accelerated rate. I also liked how the couples were paired up for the first time to generate additional realism and sparks. In short then, Boss Fantasies was the latest in the “Tales From The Edge” line that shows a great deal of promise in allowing the company to provide an alternative to the step-family titles not all are enthusiastic about so check it out.
