Yesterday Xvideos.com, one of the world’s most popular adult tube sites made an official announcement for their content partners. The big news is, effective immediately channel partners can no longer promote their OnlyFans links on their xvideos profile.
The company says this new rule is effective immediately but they will give all of their channel partners until 2022 to update their profiles before they begin to remove the links themselves.
Xvideos hosts over 9.9 million adult video clips and gets an estimated 3,142,833,333 videos per month, which works out to be almost 105 million visitors a day.
Yes, you read that right, they get almost 105 million visitors a day!
According to a rep from videos, the new policy applies to all content partners, aka channels, and the only allowed links will be for
- Your own products
- Your own products (not using 3rd parties)
- Traditional paysites
- Manyvids.com
- Sheer.com
If a channel partner wants to promote their social media links or a link page, that page must first be checked out by XVideos to ensure there are no links to banned sites like OnlyFans. Xvideos has thousands of partner channels with all the major brands like BangBros, Blacked, Vixen, Evil Angel, and more.
When asked why XVideos decided to implement this policy, they had this to say, “Onlyfans doesn’t care about porn people. They don’t mind kicking you out with a one-month notice. They are interested in going mainstream. You know the saying: don’t put all your eggs in the same basket. Do yourself a favor and diversify, or you’ll probably regret it later.”
As far as the website’s visitors go, they will notice no real changes on the front end of the website. Xvideos will continue to provide them access to millions of free videos, just as they have always done. The only real change will be the ability for the video owners to promote their OnlyFans link.
