Acclaimed adult film director Will Ryder has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Doppio Senso Awards, a prestigious Italian recognition presented during a ceremony in the Province of Treviso on Sunday evening. This latest honor comes three years after Will Ryder’s induction into the Doppio Senso Hall of Fame.

“This is the honor of a lifetime and I’m truly flattered and thankful to once again be so wonderfully recognized by this organization,” Ryder said in a statement. “I don’t even speak Italian but I humbly offer a big grazie.”

The awards event is affiliated with Doppio Senso Night, a long-running weekly television program airing on Italy’s Prima Free network. For over 15 years, the show has showcased celebrities, adult performers, and filmmakers in an informal talk-show format, contributing significantly to European adult entertainment culture.

Will Ryder, known for his prolific work in adult parodies and narrative-driven adult features, remains an active writer, director, and producer. He holds membership in five industry halls of fame: AVN, XRCO, NightMoves, Urban X, and Doppio Senso.

He credited fellow director and longtime friend Axel Braun for facilitating his introduction to the Doppio Senso producers.

“Axel and I are long-time friends, and he’s from Italy, so without his introduction, none of this would have been possible,” Ryder noted.

Braun, himself an acclaimed figure in adult cinema, added: “Will is an outstanding writer and director, and his movies are very entertaining. I couldn’t be happier to see him get this Lifetime Achievement Award in Italia.”
