Where can I find the P. Diddy sex tape?

CELEBRITY SEX NEWS LEGAL NEWS STRAIGHT

With everything going on in the news lately, you’ve no doubt been asking yourself, “Where can I find the P. Diddy sex tape?” Well, the short answer is, you can’t.

But let me explain why.

The media loves to talk about leaked sex tapes, but the reality is there is no such thing as a “leaked” sex tape.

A sex tape might very well exist, but you won’t ever see them without a few things happening first …. and that is the mountain of paperwork that is required by the federal government.

There have been many claims of leaked celebrity sex tapes over the years, but the cold, hard truth is it was all a PR stunt. Yes, even the infamous Kim Kardashian sex tape.

Kim Kardashian Sex Tape

No sex tape in the last 30 years has been “leaked” in the traditional sense. Any sex tape ever released has been done so with lots of legal paperwork and signed model releases.

Same goes with any adult movie made. They require every person in the video to sign a model release, and provide a copy of their ID (front and back).

Even when you see headlines like this …

It’s all fake. 100% fake. What is called “click bait” meant to get you to click a link.

The truth of the matter is, you can’t release a sex tape without all of the required federal paperwork. There are a few laws that govern including the federal 18 U.S. Code § 2257 – Record keeping requirements. Any person who violates this law faces 2 to 10 years in prison.

Then on a state level, you have revenge porn laws, which basically says you can’t release a sex tape that a person doesn’t agree to (in advance) that you can release (with signed model releases). Revenge porn laws vary by state, but it can also land you in jail and, in most cases, comes with lots of fines and civil penalties.

The first offense for revenge porn is usually considered a gross misdemeanor. Subsequent offenses are felonies, and can result in up to five years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.

In porn, you spend the first hour or so of your time on set going over all of your paperwork, which often includes 2257 compliance documents, model releases, filling out model consent checklists, and so on. The same rules apply to ANY sex tape, including those made for OnlyFans.

You must not only be over 18 years of age at the time the video is made, but you must be able to prove it and sign a document authorizing the release of the video and/or photos.

There is no exception to this law.

This is why you won’t see a P. Diddy sex tape. Because the people in the tapes didn’t know they were being filmed, and even if they did, they didn’t sign a release to have the videos released.

That being said, the next time you hear about a celebrity sex tape being leaked, don’t be fooled. They not only knew the tape was being leaked, but they signed all of the legal documents to allow it to be released.
