Talent Testing Service (TTS) announced it will be spearheading the creation of an Adult Independent Health Panel (AIHP) consisting of advocates of all industry stakeholders, including but not limited to talent, producers, agents, participating laboratories, media as well as scientific experts.
This is a big step in the right direction for performer safety.
It is expected that the AIHP will hold its first meeting right after the AVNs in January 2023 and will continue to meet quarterly and on an as-needed basis. Stakeholders interested in participating in the AIHP can send an email to [email protected].
The primary mission of the AIHP is to serve as a communication forum between all stakeholders, TTS said. It will review epidemiological trends and advise the industry as a whole on health-related matters with “full transparency among other important topics.”
“We have been advocating for a panel like this for some time,” said Sixto Pacheco, president & CEO of TTS. “We are excited to be spearheading this effort as we feel it will fill a much-needed void.”
If you want to be a part of the Adult Independent Health Panel send an email to [email protected] and tell them who you are and why you want to take part.
