Judge Herb Dodell the host of news/law talk show, “For The People” welcomes attorney/author/activist Micha Star Liberty who represents survivors of sexual abuse, sexual harassment and sex trafficking to the show to discuss the realities of human trafficking in today’s world, how politics and policy shape justice for survivors, the legal system’s challenges and reforms and Micha’s journey as an exclusive attorney for survivors of violence.

“This episode sheds light on urgent issues at the intersection of law, politics, and human rights,” says Judge Herb. “We started out requesting that Micha discuss Jeffrey Epstein, but we ended up with an episode that gave us so much more. There’s so much to learn about human trafficking, especially done through the internet these days, the innocent and underage are sadly easy targets.”

As a lawyer, Micha Star Liberty has worked with trauma survivors for more than two decades, helping them find their voice, assert their rights, and reclaim their freedom. Many of her clients hold their stories close, reluctant to confront the past or reveal their pain.
