A former U.S. Coast Guard member who later became an OnlyFans model and fetish content creator pleaded guilty on Tuesday to the execution-style murder of a man she accused of raping her years earlier, federal prosecutors announced.

35-year-old Chelsea Perkins, known online as Selena Savage, admitted to fatally shooting 31-year-old Matthew Dunmire in the back of the head during a planned meeting at Cuyahoga Valley National Park on March 6, 2021. The two had known each other since attending high school in Virginia between 2005 and 2009.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio, Perkins traveled over 300 miles from Alexandria, Virginia, to the park in northeast Ohio under the pretense of meeting up with Dunmire. Once on an isolated trail, she led him off the main path and shot him with a concealed 9mm handgun. Hikers discovered Dunmire’s body three days later.

The FBI investigation involved extensive forensic work, including GPS tracking, DNA analysis, social media records, phone data, and ballistics testing. One of three handguns recovered from Perkins’ residence in Virginia had ammunition matching the bullets found in Dunmire’s body.

Court documents reveal that Perkins had previously reported Dunmire for rape to Virginia Beach police in 2017, but prosecutors declined to pursue charges due to a lack of evidence. That allegation became a central point in the case’s background, though prosecutors focused their charges on the events of the 2021 killing.

Perkins, who later transitioned into adult entertainment under the name Sabrina Savage on platforms like OnlyFans, was arrested nearly nine months after the murder. She pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and using a firearm in relation to a violent crime on federal land—a plea that came just one week before her scheduled trial.

The case also led to tragic consequences beyond the initial crime. In November 2021, Dunmire’s mother, Tommie Lynn Dunmire, and his father, John Nelson McQuillen, allegedly attempted vigilante justice. Disguised as a delivery driver, Tommie Dunmire shot a woman she mistakenly believed was Perkins at an apartment in Washington, D.C. The woman survived. Tommie Dunmire later died by suicide during a traffic stop in Florida. McQuillen was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to being an accessory after the fact to assault with intent to kill.

Selena Savage now faces a prison term between 20 and 25 years. Sentencing is scheduled for September 9 in federal court.
