Adult content creator Selena Savage was arrested for murder. What makes the story interesting is that she appears to have shot the man in the head while on a content shoot.
On March 5, on Twitter, she talks about traveling from her home in Florida to do content shoots away from home.
That say same, Matthew John Dunmire was at a bar with friends, where he left to meet a girl, who he said was staying in the area for the weekend.
He and a colleague left the bar and walked out to see the woman driving a white Smart Car. Surveillance video captured the license plate, and authorities tracked the car to Selena Savage’s husband, a member of the military, according to the affidavit. At the time, she lived in Arlington, Virginia. Another video indicated Dunmire was with Selena Savage, who was dressed in black clothes with black knee-high boots.
The two drove to an Airbnb in Cleveland. Selena Savage had made the reservation that day, March 5, the FBI affidavit says. The document suggests that the two knew each other, and the meeting was not random.
It was at 10:29 am that next day (March 6) that Matthew Dunmire sent a text to his wife saying “OK. I’ll see you in a little while.” He would be dead an hour later.
A couple hiking in the woods said they encountered a woman in the woods, dressed in black clothes and knee-high boots, the document says. The woman claimed she was lost, and she appeared confused and expressed no emotion, according to the affidavit.
A second couple, who also was hiking in the area, said they heard a gunshot between 11:30 a.m. and 11:50 a.m., the affidavit says. They noticed a white Smart Car parked nearby.
Authorities later determined Selena Savage continued from Cleveland to a tattoo shop outside of Detroit.
This is the photo of the tattoo she got from her friend and fellow content creator Mallory Maneater (@MalloryManeater) – just hours after leaving the man who would later be found shout in the head.
The FBI later seized three pistols during a search of Selena Savage’s home. A ballistics report determined the markings on the bullet that killed Dunmire had similar characteristics as those fired from two Springfield Armory pistols officers seized from her home, according to the FBI affidavit.
What we know for sure is that the couple were in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park for at least one hour. Some have speculated the two were in the park shooting content.
Were they using gun to shoot content and it accidentally went off? It’s happened before. Or did she shoot him on purpose after he came at her? That too has happened before.
It’s hard to say because what Selena Savage didn’t do is report it to authorities. She didn’t tell her side of the story.
What was a married man doing in the woods with a girl? Text messages suggest the wife knew Dunmire was meeting and spending the night with a woman, but he also insisted that they had not had sex.
The whole thing is very suspicious. How do you shoot someone in the head and then go get a tattoo from your friend a few hours later?
She was very active on social media the very day of the incident, and for the next few months after.
Here’s a photo she posted on March 12th, which looks like it was taken at the same Air B&B she was at on March 6th with Dunmire.
Notice the backsplash in the two images are the same.
If what the FBI is saying is true, the victim took photos of Selena Savage, she then went to the woods shot him in the head, left, got a tattoo, then went on Twitter and posted the pictures he took of her the day she murdered him.
Then just a few days later did another content trade with another OnlyFans girl.
I don’t know. I just have a hard time believing anyone is that hardcore. I guess we’ll see as the trial plays out.
On a positive note, it looks like she has a lawyer all lined up.
