Adult industry veteran Rachel Steele is profiled in a new Hustler Magazine article, “Mature XXX Mavens,” about the highs, lows, successes and struggles as a midlife performer within the adult film industry.
Steele, who is interviewed by former adult star Missy Martinez alongside fellow entertainer Lacey Starr, explains in the feature piece that she launched an adult career in 2006 after she “saw the earnings potential” as a performer and filmmaker, and started her company Red MILF Productions to specifically highlight taboo and fetish content for fans of the lifestyle and community.
She notes that as the years went by, “I quickly grew to become very confident with my character that emerged, [my] sexual skills, my acting and my creating people’s most taboo fantasies through film… making these taboo films helped me to explore my sexuality, taking my power back. Dominating men is an absolute joy to me, and a huge turn-on.”
As for focusing on age as a creator, Steele says, “There is a huge focus on age in this industry, and in all acting industries, we need to move away from this ageism and just focus on the talents and the art that people create.
“There are many opportunities for any gender of any age and any size in this industry and beyond. If you believe it, you can achieve it. Stay away from anyone who tells you different; create your own product, your own brand, be confident in who you are and where you are in life, and you will find you have an audience.”
