It’s official, co-performer verification is now required for all posts to Pornhub. But what does this mean? First and foremost you must be a verified account to upload any videos to the Pornhub platform. But in addition to being verified, you must also not get your model releases and 2257 docs pre-approved prior to getting your uploaded content approved.
This notification was given to all performers who logged into their account today.
While it has always been mandatory for Models to collect and maintain IDs and signed Release Agreements when working with Co-Performers, the way we validate this information has been updated. In order to protect Models and their work, we now require Co-Performers to be approved first before we can publish new videos featuring these individuals.
To make this process easier, we have added new tools to verify Co-Performers. You can access these tools under your Core Settings.
If you recently uploaded a video with Co-Performers and it did not get approved, please visit your Core Settings to add a new Co-Performer or rescan their ID. We also recommend adding a signed Release Form at the same time which will be required in early 2024. We will provide more information about Consent Requirements soon.
We have updated our Help Center to support you and we encourage you to share your feedback about these new tools.
Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions or need help.
Best, The Pornhub Team
Long story short, always make sure your content is 2257 verified. And this new policy is just one of the many reasons why you should always get signed documents for every scene you do with someone, not just relying on the OnlyFans “tag” system.
What happens if a model is no longer on OnlyFans or you want to post your content to another platform like Pornhub? Even if you just want to post a tiny clip of a scene you did for promo. Without the required documents you’re out of luck.
