Originally from Florida, Sophia Leone started her career in the adult industry in 2015 and has been nothing but a true gem to work with over the last eight years, according to both her agent (Brian of AMA Modeling) and many producers and performers who have had the joy of working with her over the years in her nearly 400 movies. Sophia became known not just for her striking presence on camera but for her genuine kindness and warmth off-camera. Those who knew her attest to the joy and light she brought to every set and project she was part of.

The circumstances of her passing are under investigation by Albuquerque homicide detectives, treating it as a suspicious death.

Her final communication, a tweet on February 28th, hinted at no such forthcoming sorrow, making the news all the more shocking. This was just one day before authorities thought he had died.

She was found dead inside an apartment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Homicide detectives are investing the details. Albuquerque officers responded to a call at her apartment complex around 10:40 a.m. Friday morning, March 1. The woman was later identified as adult star Sophie Leone.

Police are still waiting for a toxicology report to learn the cause of her death but homicide has an active, ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
