It has come to our attention that our automatic Twitter delivery mechanism has “upgraded” their image posting requirements.
What this means to You:
The MINIMUM image size that will be posted to twitter is 300 pixels wide and 400 pixels high. Unfortunately, we have no way of changing that at the moment.
The “Featured Image” is NOT the photo that gets tweeted, only one that is contained in the document itself, which must meet this minimum requirement.
Our early testing shows that if you use an image that is around 400×600 or 600×400 and set it to “original size” during upload using the ‘ADD Media’ button, then it works fine. We don’t suggest using a full size image much over 700 pixels wide or high.
Yes, we know it’s an inconvenience that we are hoping we can fix shortly but until then, if you want to attract more “likes” on your posts once they hit twitter, it’s the best thing we have come up with so far. We apologize for the inconvenience.
