The founders of NightMoves Magazine and the NightMoves Awards will be formally inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame later this month, marking a major milestone for one of the longest-running institutions in the adult entertainment industry.

Paul Allen and Tracy Allen, who founded NightMoves in 1988, confirmed that they received word of their induction on New Year’s Eve. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 24, 2026, in Las Vegas during the annual AVN Awards events.

In a statement released by Allen, the couple described the honor as a significant moment after more than three decades in the business.

“2026 started off with a bang here at NightMoves as Tracy and I received word on New Year’s Eve that we are being inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame,” Allen said. “We are honored and excited to be included and proud of what we have accomplished in our 36 years in the industry. Being recognized by AVN is amazing.”

The induction places the Allens in the Founders Branch of the AVN Hall of Fame, which recognizes individuals and companies that have made lasting contributions to the adult industry. Their induction comes one year after NightMoves was also recognized by the XRCO, which inducted the founders into its own Hall of Fame.

Allen noted the significance of receiving the honor after decades of celebrating others.

“After handing out thousands of awards throughout the years to actors, actresses, directors and companies, it is a fantastic feeling to be receiving this award,” he said.

The Allens will be inducted alongside several other prominent industry figures and companies, including Steven Grooby of Grooby Productions, as well as Samantha Lewis and Joone from Digital Playground. Grooby Productions, founded in 1996, has been described by AVN Business as one of the most popular companies in the adult industry worldwide. Digital Playground has long been regarded as one of the largest studios in the industry and was previously described by Reuters as one of the handful of studios that dominate the market.

Allen also acknowledged the individuals who supported the nomination process, including Art Koch, Axel Braun, Mike Moz, Dirty Bob, and Peter Warren, along with the broader AVN organization.

A separate statement of thanks was directed toward the NightMoves staff, both past and present. Allen cited current team members Tom Peak, Lenny Mumbles, Art Koch, Olivia Pearl, and contributing writers Miles Long, Moutasem Seyam, Tanya, Pam, Kelly Johnson, and Richard Kent. He also honored the memory of Andrew “Rock” Serra, Christopher Blue, and his father, Paul Cianci.

NightMoves Magazine is based in Tampa Bay, Florida, and has been published monthly in print and online since its launch in 1988. It is recognized as the longest-running adult publication in the United States. In addition to national features, interviews, and industry coverage, the magazine includes local reporting, a sports column, horoscopes, and regular publisher commentary.

The NightMoves brand expanded beyond publishing with the launch of the NightMoves Awards in 1993. The show is the third-oldest adult awards ceremony in the country, behind only XRCO and AVN. It was the first awards show to allow fans to vote for winners and the first to implement online voting, establishing the model for fan-based adult industry awards.

The 2026 NightMoves Awards are scheduled to take place from October 7 through October 11.

The AVN Hall of Fame induction will be formally recognized during the 2026 AVN Awards weekend in Las Vegas, where the Allens are expected to reunite with colleagues and industry figures they have worked with throughout their careers.
