Adam & Eve Pictures gives a first look at Love, Sex & Robots, a sci-fi sex-thriller starring Kira Noir, with a movie trailer just released. The feature movie from director Will Ryder dives into the silicon valley world of artificial intelligence and robotics, providing a sinister look at what can go wrong when humans and technology mingle.
“I don’t think we’re too far away from this type of truly scary scenario playing out in real life,” Ryder remarked over lunch at a Hollywood eatery.
Noir, the 2023 AVN Female Performer of the Year, plays an artificially intelligent fembot named DANA, which stands for digital algorithm neurocomputing assistant. What is intended as a safe and easy in-home helper for consumer use becomes anything but safe.
The story is compelling. Soon to marry Mandy, his college sweetheart, Michael jumps at a cash bonus offered by his company to beta-test a new ‘home-helper’ artificial intelligence robot. The young engineer-in-training figures he could use the extra money, but things swiftly turn into a digital nightmare as the couple become desperate to stop the out-of-control fembot that has fallen in love with him and into a deep hatred for her.
Joining Kira Noir is newcomer Maria Kazi, Kiara Cole, Pristine Edge, Athena Anderson, Zerella Skies, Mazy Myers, Tyler Cruise, Brad Newman, Rob Carpenter, Rusty Nails, and Frank Bukkwyd.
“It’s a very provocative love story,” added Scott David, the movie’s co-producer. “Will Ryder wrote an amazing script in completely new cinematic territory for us.”
“Kira is so good, I actually believe she’s become a fembot,” Ryder exclaimed. “Maria Kazi is fantastic, my entire cast and crew help make this our most imaginative feature movie yet.”
Adam and Eve will release the movie in the spring.
