Former male performer Joey Ray has reportedly passed away. Born on May 29, 1970, in Bostom, MA, he began working in the adult industry in 1994, during which he performed in almost 800 scenes, including Vivid Videos Fade To Black, in which he won the AVN Award for “Best Couples Sex Scene”.

He was 51 years old at the time of his death.

According to his friend Dale Dabone, Joey Ray took his own life – although no further information is available about his death at this time.

His death has been confirmed by the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner. He died on December 18, 2021 by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
