Luxembourg-based Byborg Enterprises SA announced its acquisition of Gamma Entertainment, a leading Canadian conglomerate renowned for its management of top adult brands, including Adult Time, Wicked Pictures, and X Empire.
Looks like the big boys are getting even bigger.
The acquisition marks a strategic expansion for Byborg Enterprises, best known as the parent company of LiveJasmin. Both companies emphasized their shared commitment to compliance and the safety of creators and consumers, underscoring a unified vision for the industry’s future.
Gamma Entertainment’s operational leadership will remain intact to ensure a seamless transition and maintain the high standards associated with its portfolio. However, founder and president Karl Bernard will step down as part of the agreement.
“Leading this company has been an extraordinary journey, and I am deeply grateful to our incredible team for their dedication and the remarkable achievements we have accomplished together,” Bernard said in a statement. “As I prepare to step down, I do so with great confidence in Byborg’s leadership. Our shared values and vision for the future set the stage for even greater success in the years ahead.”
Bernard’s departure is balanced by the ongoing collaboration between Gamma’s established management team and Byborg’s leadership.
The acquisition aligns Gamma’s creative and production strengths with Byborg’s expertise in platform management and user engagement, creating new opportunities for growth across both organizations.
Karoly Papp, co-founder of Byborg Enterprises, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the two companies’ complementary strengths.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gamma Entertainment into the Byborg Network,” Papp said. “Their creativity and production capabilities perfectly align with our goal of delivering top-tier experiences to our customers. The synergies between our brands open up exciting possibilities for collaboration, which will drive growth and elevate our platforms to new heights.”
Both companies underscored a mutual commitment to compliance and the implementation of measures aimed at improving safety within the industry for creators and consumers alike. This reflects growing industry trends toward adopting higher standards for content production and distribution.
Gamma Entertainment, headquartered in Montreal, has long been a leader in the adult industry, one of the biggest production companies out there.
Its premium subscription service, Adult Time, is celebrated for offering personalized content experiences. By joining Byborg’s network, Gamma is expected to gain enhanced technological and operational resources, enabling further innovation.
