With everyone talking about the new CEO at OnlyFans, I thought it might be wise to really look at her background.
Amrapali Gan was born in Mumbai, India in 1984 or 1985. She goes by the name of “Ami” instead of Amrapali. It is unclear when she first came to the US but we do know that she started out her educational journey with an associates in Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in California.
Next, she went to California State University where she got a BA in Public Relations and Organization Communication.
Her first real job appears to be at Pepsi in 2007 where she worked in their Marketing Leadership Program. As she was only there less than a year, this may have been an internship-type thing. From there she went on to work in public relations for Phyllis Kelin & Associations in public relations from 2008-2010. Then spent the next two years at My Fashion Databasie, Inc as a digital marketing manager from 2010-2012. From there she spends a year at a fashion startup called Style Saint as a marketing manager, before venturing out to a new niche and working in marketing at Quest Nutrition for three years.
Next, she lands at Red Bull as a communication manager, where she works for almost 2 years, then takes a job with Lowell Herb, a small cannabis company in LA. There she transitions over to Cannabis Cafe where she works for a year until finally, she lands her job as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, which is a position she got in September of 2020, well after the pandemic was underway. She maintained this position in the company for just over a year before being named the company’s CEO.
Ami Gan also has her own OnlyFans page, where she shares behind-the-scenes footage of her personal life and what it’s like being a part of the OnlyFans team at @amrapali.
What plans does she have for OnlyFans? We honestly just don’t know yet. But with a heavy background in marketing, I can only imagine it will be all about growing the brand.
