Adult film star “Sergeant Miles” and a seven-time GayVN nominee has been sentenced for his involvement in the Capitol Riot on January 6, 2021. Miles, who diverged from the typical profile of a Proud Boys participant, has been officially charged and convicted for his actions during the infamous attack.

On February 9, a courtroom in Washington D.C. handed down a sentence of two years in prison to Miles, marking a significant moment three years after rioters besieged the Capitol.

The Pasco County, Florida native was captured on video alongside fellow Proud Boys members, engaging in violence against police officers. The charges laid against him included assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers, civil disorder, and engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds with a dangerous weapon, among other related offenses.

The sentencing also includes a year of supervised release and an order to pay $2,000 in restitution. This verdict was part of a joint trial with Matthew Lebrun, who was identified and arrested following a tip-off to the FBI by a woman who had photographed herself with the men. According to her statement, they boasted about their illegal entry into the Capitol, facilitated by breaking a window.

Miles, who has been performing under the pseudonym Sergeant Miles primarily for Clips4Sale and Lucas Entertainment since 2013, has continued appearing in videos until this year, highlighting the dichotomy between his professional and political life.

The case of Sergeant Miles underscores a poignant reminder that political beliefs and sexual orientation are not invariably aligned, bringing to light the complex and often surprising nature of individual actions and ideologies.
