I found a post on Twitter that caught my attention.
Happy International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination! Thanks @FSCArmy for always leading the charge
What caught my attention is their call to contact them for conflict resolution. I didn’t know about this so I had to look it up. Turns out they offer a list of related services if you’ve had problems on set for either consent violations or for racial discrimination.
I love that they are doing this. It’s a huge step in the right direction. It makes a company take ownership of problems that take place on set.
It still bothers me greatly that a lawyer who at the time worked with the FSC represented Tony T, in the case Nikki Benz filed against him for abuses on set. So I’m happy to hear that things at the FSC are changing – in a positive way.
If you have a problem on set, you can utilize the FSC’s conflict resolution resources here.
