FSC Issues Alert on Identity Theft Targeting Adult Performers

LEGAL NEWS PORNSTARS STRAIGHT

The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) has issued a formal warning to adult industry professionals following the discovery of a list containing the personal and financial information of hundreds of performers. The alert comes after an individual was arrested in Southern California in possession of sensitive data, including Social Security numbers and bank account details. Information that isn’t readily available through traditional 2257 documents, but which he should not have access to, is commonly provided to third-party platforms such as OnlyFans, ManyVids, and Clips4Sale. This information allows the platform to verify the performer’s identity and issue payment for earned money.

“This is not just a case of identity theft—it’s a targeted breach that impacts the financial safety and personal privacy of workers in our community,” said an FSC representative in a written statement. “We are urging all performers to take immediate precautions to protect their identity and credit.”

The suspect, whose identity has not yet been released, was taken into custody by the City of Orange Police Department. A list found in their possession reportedly contained detailed private information belonging to adult performers. The police are actively working to notify those affected.

While the source of the data remains under investigation, the scope and specificity of the information raise serious concerns about a possible breach involving a platform or database commonly used within the industry. Neither the FSC nor law enforcement has confirmed if a specific adult platform system was compromised.

Adult performers who believe they may be affected are advised to immediately place fraud alerts and security freezes on their credit reports. The three nationwide credit reporting agencies can be contacted directly:

Additional resources and recovery tools are available through IdentityTheft.gov and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Those with information relevant to the case are encouraged to contact Officer Patel at the City of Orange Police Department by calling 657-517-8880 and referencing case number 25-08-0012.

The FSC stated it will continue to monitor the situation and issue updates as more details become available. Performers and industry workers are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any unusual activity on their accounts.
