Bree Barrett worked in porn from 2007 to about 2010. During that time she only did about 50 movies, some of which were rather good including Kinky College Girls, Open for Jizzness, and Young & Nasty volume 3.

But one day she decided to leave porn and go to nursing school. Things however didn’t go well for her and she was discriminated against because of her porn past. She didn’t however take things lying down.

She filed suit against her school and she won!

Jury orders Oregon community college to pay $1.7 million to a former porn actress, agreeing the college breached its contract w/ her. Nicole Gililland had hoped to set new Title IX precedent regarding discrimination against sex workers. But jury passed.

Nicole Gililland (Bree Barrett) alleged that her college discriminated against her for working in porn. She was hoping to set a new legal precedent for sex workers. The jury agreed with her on some points but not others.

According to court documents, the jury felt the school breached its contract with the former porn star, which resulted in damages to the plaintiff.

As such, she was awarded $735,417 for economic damages and $1 million for non-economic damages.
