Vic Lagina recently sat down with Lisa Ann for an exclusive interview on her popular podcast, The Lisa Ann Experience. During their conversation, Lagina discussed his newly released tell-all book, “Filthy: The Rise and (Pending) Death of Vic Lagina,” and shared insights into what it’s like working in the adult film industry.
When asked why he decided to pen his memoir, Lagina explained, “I wanted to give people an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes in porn. There’s a lot of misconceptions out there about our world, and I thought writing a book would be the best way to set the record straight.”
One of the most intriguing aspects of Lagina’s book is its focus on preparing aspiring actors for a career in porn. “We get tons of guys reaching out to us wanting to become porn stars,” he said. “But unfortunately, many of them don’t understand just how demanding and grueling the job can be. So, I included some practical advice in ‘Vic Lagina’s School of Porn Lessons,’ covering everything from hygiene to performing under pressure.”
Lagina also touched upon some of the darker aspects of the industry, such as dealing with addiction and mental health issues amongst performers. “It’s not all glitz and glamour,” he admitted. “There’s a lot of pain and suffering too. But I believe it’s important to shed light on these challenges so we can work towards creating a safer environment for everyone involved.”
During his career, Lagina produced over 3792 scenes for various studios, including Brazzers, Mofos, Babes, Wicked, and Digital Playground. He worked closely with numerous A-list actresses, such as Nikki Benz, Phoenix Marie, and Shyla Stylez. When asked about some of his favorite moments from his time in the business, Lagina fondly recalled a particular shoot involving Asa Akira.
“Asa is one of the most talented and dedicated performers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with,” he said. “She brought incredible energy and enthusiasm to every scene we filmed together. And let me tell you, she could take a cock like nobody else!”
Despite having retired from the industry himself, Lagina remains passionate about sharing his experiences and knowledge with aspiring filmmakers. “If anyone wants to learn more about the inner workings of porn, they should definitely pick up a copy of Filthy,” he urged. “And who knows? Maybe they’ll end up becoming the next big thing in adult entertainment.”
