Adult content platform Flirtback has announced the integration of Zcash (ZEC) payments, enabling users to make anonymous transactions while supporting creators.

The integration is powered by the Zashi wallet, enabling users to swap nearly any cryptocurrency into shielded ZEC via NEAR Protocol before completing purchases on Flirtback.

“Privacy-conscious users have been requesting cryptocurrency payment options that protect their financial activity,” Flirtback’s development team said. “By implementing Zcash and leveraging Zashi’s multi-crypto capabilities, we’re providing our community with the privacy they deserve while maintaining platform security and simplicity.”

Currently, the integration supports tipping and content unlocks, but Flirtback said it plans to roll out creator payouts in Zcash, allowing performers to receive earnings privately.

Zcash uses zero-knowledge proofs to maintain transaction confidentiality, a feature the company has highlighted as particularly important for adult entertainment consumers.
