Hardly a day goes by when you don’t hear about an adult content creator or porn performer getting their Instagram page banned. Well, it turns out that in some of those cases, it wasn’t Instagram at all; it was a hacker doing it to export the profile owner to have it turned back on.
The FBI has arrested Idriss Qibaa, a Moroccan national living in Las Vegas, following a shocking podcast interview in which he openly bragged about his illegal extortion scheme. The arrest comes after Qibaa, known by aliases “Dani” or “Unlocked,” detailed his criminal activities in a tell-all conversation that triggered a federal investigation.
Qibaa, who allegedly ran a website called Unlocked4Life.com, is accused of extorting Instagram users by locking their accounts and demanding thousands of dollars to restore access. He also offered services such as artificially inflating followers and views, gathering personal information on others, and getting users banned from the platform—for a price.
The FBI’s interest in Qibaa was piqued after his appearance on the popular “No Jumper” podcast hosted by Adam22, husband to porn star Lena the Plug. During the interview, Qibaa boasted about making $600,000 a month from over 200 victims. His brazen admission and detailed descriptions of his extortion tactics led to a federal investigation, resulting in his arrest last week.
According to the criminal complaint filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Nevada, Qibaa is facing two felony counts for violating interstate communications laws through violent threats sent via text messages to victims and their families.
The FBI tracked down several of his victims, including professionals such as realtors, dentists, businessmen, journalists, and influencers, who described harrowing experiences of threats and intimidation.
In one instance, Qibaa allegedly threatened to shoot or injure a victim’s daughter, fiancé, dog, business partners, and their families. In another case, he vandalized a victim’s property, smashing the windshields of luxury cars parked in the driveway—an act caught on security cameras.
Adam22, who has interviewed various underground figures for his podcast, expressed shock at Qibaa’s willingness to openly discuss his illegal activities. “Usually, when you talk to someone involved in illegal behavior, there’s an understanding that certain things shouldn’t be said on camera. But this guy just blew my mind by being so open about everything,” Adam22 said.
Following the interview, Qibaa reportedly began threatening Adam22 as well, claiming he could release private emails and even disable the podcast host’s car remotely—claims that Adam22 found dubious but unsettling.
The hacker has been publicly boasting about his exploits for awhile now. He even has a Telegram group where he keeps his fanboys up to date.
The Unlocked4Life Telegram group boasts more than 25,000 users, and Qibaa posts messages like this disturbing one. In this post, he brags about going after a man from whom he tried to get $75,000. When the man didn’t pay, he banned him and his backup accounts. This message was just posted on July 24th by the hacker.
In addition to getting your Instagram account unbanned (or, in many cases, banning them himself so he can export the person to get it back), he will also “make all your enemies disappear” for the right price. This is, ironically, the last post he made in his telegram group before he disappeared from his telegram channel, as he is now in the custody of the FBI.
Qibaa told Adam22 in their chat that Las Vegas sports bookies come to him for recovery when someone doesn’t pay, Qibaa will destroy their lives through IG, says he’s done way worse.
“OF girls who need their page back are his favorite because he can tell them $5-6k and they send it right away, says the number of OF clients has gone down because they have wisened up,” Quibaa added in his chat with Adam22 on the No Jumper podcast.
Qibaa, who lived in the U.S. legally but is not a citizen, had previously stated that if he felt law enforcement pressure or was arrested, he would flee back to Morocco and “live like a king.” However, his arrest by the FBI last week may have thwarted those plans.
He’s thought to have amassed more than a million in Bitcoin over the past few months, as well around $230k in ETH, in addition to the hundreds of thousands of diamonds. At one point, he claimed to have more than $1.4 million in diamonds in his mouth. Which is in addition to the multiple diamond rings he has bought his wife.
The investigation into Qibaa’s activities is ongoing, and the FBI has urged any additional victims to come forward. His arrest highlights the growing dangers of cyber extortion and the importance of vigilant law enforcement in tackling such crimes.
If convicted, Qibaa only faces a maximum sentence of five years of confinement and a $250,000 fine on each count. Hopefully, they’ll find enough of his victims that he’ll be facing more than the two charges he currently is indicted on. Otherwise, he’ll be out in no time, no doubt back in his home country, terrorizing people again.
Were you a victim of this man?
It’s unknown how many adult performers have been his victims, but from chatter online, it seems like quite a few. If you have had dealings with this, I encourage you to contact the US Department of Justice. The Las Vegas field office number is 702-388-6336. It doesn’t matter where you live, if you were a victim, they need to hear from you.
