The awards season has officially begun this year two weeks early!

Normally pre-nominations start for the adult industry awards season on September 1st, but this year AVN surprised everyone by opening their pre-noms two weeks ahead of schedule.

This, however, means that instead of closing on September 30th like most years, this year the cut-off date is September 15th.

So this means if you want to be considered for an AVN award, you’ll need to submit yourself by then.

Legitimate adult industry producers, directors, talent, and other active personnel may submit their productions, products, and other work of the last year for awards consideration using the AVN Awards Pre-Nomination Site, located at: submissions.awards.avn.com.

If you do not have a pre-approved account, you can CLICK HERE to fill out the form so that you can submit your own nominations.

This is a big deal, so don’t wait until the last minute. Make sure to sign up for your account as soon as possible and submit your nominations immediately.

The AVN awards pre-nom website will close promptly at midnight the night of September 15, and there will be no extension of this deadline.

You can request to be nominated up to five times in any given category. But don’t go crazy and submit yourself for everything. Really think about the best work you’ve done this year and only submit the best of the best.

You do not need to pay someone to help you get nominated for an AVN award. You can submit your own nominations. 

If you aren’t sure what a particular category means, you can check out the category definitions (click here). Some of them can be a bit confusing. But any nominations you want to submit must be for the qualifying period. What this means is any movie released from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022. If the movie was released before October 1, 2021, it doesn’t qualify, so find another movie to nominate yourself for.

After pre-noms close on September 15th (at midnight) AVN employees will go through all of their submissions and pick the best of the best and then announce the official nominees for each category.
