Are OnlyFans Creators Turning to AI to Answer Their DMs?

ONLYFANS STRAIGHT

Contrary to what many people may want you to believe, there is not a rise in fake OnlyFans creators using AI to pretend to be real.

In fact, OnlyFans has methods in place to require that all creators not only prove their identity with biometric data and matching government documents, but they also have rules that prevent people from creating creator accounts and posting content that doesn’t feature them. In other words, fake AI created girls.

But that’s not to say AI doesn’t have its place in the world of OnlyFans creators. In fact, AI is now quietly replacing human assistants known as “chatters” who are hired to help some creators answer their private messages.

Chatters are contractors who manage creators’ inboxes by impersonating them in direct messages with fans. With creators often juggling thousands of simultaneous conversations, many have long outsourced this workload to low-wage workers in countries like the Philippines, India, and Pakistan. Now, those workers are themselves being replaced by AI chatbots.

Startups like ChatPersona, FlirtFlow, Botly, and Supercreator are offering AI-driven DM management tools that simulate intimate conversations. These bots are trained on real chat data and use generative language models to replicate a creator’s tone, style, and even flirtatious banter.

“A lot of creators were like, hey, there’s a need,” said Kunal Anand, founder of ChatPersona. “We built our own model with data we got from a lot of creators’ chats,” Anand claims. The service has grown to serve thousands of creators.

Although OnlyFans previously banned AI chatbots, the platform’s current terms of service do not specifically mention AI, creating a gray area. Some software prevents potential TOS violations by keeping a human in the loop to press “send” on all AI-generated messages manually.

Other platforms are more direct. Supercreator’s Inbox Copilot drafts replies and uses algorithms to rank fans based on spending behavior, pushing big spenders to the top and sidelining users who interact for free (time wasters). This way, you can spend your time chatting with guys you know are likely to tip and avoid the guys who are just going to want you to talk forever without tipping or ever buying anything.

Eden, a former creator who now runs her own OnlyFans management agency (Heiss Talent), says all of her clients use Supercreator.app’s tools. “It’s an insane increase in sales,” she said. “You can target people based on their spending.” According to her, one automated follow-up message sent to a previously inactive fan led to a $1,000 tip.

These AI systems don’t just mimic language; they optimize engagement. Tools can detect when fans come online and instantly message them, warming them up for the real creator to take over. Some users deploy hybrid methods where AI drafts the message and the creator personalizes it.

The automation has supercharged productivity and earnings, but it also raises questions about authenticity and transparency. For many subscribers, the draw of OnlyFans lies in the illusion of personal intimacy. The increasing use of AI risks shattering that dynamic.

Still, for creators trying to scale a lucrative business while managing burnout, AI isn’t a threat, it’s a solution. As Eden put it: “We like to keep things as authentic as possible… but if AI can help with the heavy lifting, why wouldn’t we use it?”

At least 2 or 3 times a day, I see ads on Instagram to create fake AI content creators and how you can make $50,000 or more per month with an AI girl. But the reality is, you aren’t going to be able to do that with OnlyFans. Besides the fact that they don’t allow it through their TOS, the technology just isn’t there. You aren’t going to be able to use AI to do anything more than create a few photos. Realistic AI video just isn’t there, not yet, at least. Perhaps in the future, but we aren’t there yet. No technology exists that will allow you to create a really realistic fake human.

  • Yes, you can use AI to send text messages back and forth.
  • Yes, you can use AI to create audio.
  • Yes, you can use AI to create photos (even nude ones).

But there is no technology that allows anyone to create porn videos. Not even close. But that doesn’t mean AI doesn’t have its place in the world of OnlyFans. It’s just not going actually to replace REAL content creators anytime soon.

Short video clips like this are nice, but it’s a far cry from a real sex video, where a girl full-on masturbates or has sex with another person.

For now, though, AI is a great tool to help REAL creators do some great things with their OnlyFans accounts. It can help them keep notes on their subscribers, remember their birthdays, and even send them automated, personalized hello messages when the guy logs in to his OnlyFans account.

And that’s pretty cool, if you ask me.
