Okay, let’s start with a little honorable mention. Lacey Chabert might not have gone fully nude in Imaginary Friend (2012), but she did heat things up in this psychological thriller. Chabert plays Emma, a woman struggling with mental illness as her imaginary childhood friend comes back to haunt her. While the film explores her unraveling mind, it also features some undeniably sexy scenes where Chabert's character engages in intimate moments. Though she doesn’t go completely nude, her sultry performance is enough to earn her a spot here. Chabert's transition from her sweet, naive Gretchen Wieners persona in Mean Girls to a more mature, seductive role makes Imaginary Friend worth checking out.

Lindsay Lohan, who portrayed the awkward but lovable Cady Heron in Mean Girls, ventured deep into adult content with The Canyons (2013). Directed by Paul Schrader and written by Bret Easton Ellis, The Canyons is a neo-noir erotic thriller about the darker side of Hollywood. Lohan plays Tara, a woman caught in a toxic relationship with a manipulative movie producer, played by porn star James Deen.

In the film, Lohan sheds her Disney-like image entirely, baring it all in several scenes. From topless shots to group sex scenes, Lohan pushes boundaries and exposes herself (literally) in ways that may surprise Mean Girls fans. The film was marketed heavily on Lohan's involvement and nude scenes, which certainly generated buzz for the independent flick. Though the movie received mixed reviews, Lohan’s bold, raw performance and willingness to appear naked on screen left a lasting impression.

Amanda Seyfried played the hilariously clueless Karen Smith in Mean Girls and took on a more serious and provocative role in Lovelace (2013). The film is a biographical drama about Linda Lovelace, the infamous star of the 1972 adult film Deep Throat. Seyfried portrays Lovelace, taking audiences through her tumultuous journey from porn stardom to activism against the industry.

In Lovelace, Seyfried doesn’t shy away from nudity. In multiple scenes, she appears topless as she portrays the rise of one of the most famous adult film stars of the 20th century. The movie delves into Lovelace's exploitation and personal struggles, allowing Seyfried to flex her dramatic acting skills while baring her body for the role. Her performance received praise, and the film's raw portrayal of the adult industry was certainly a far cry from her ditsy Mean Girls days.

Regina George may have been a preppy queen bee, but Rachel McAdams has shown that she’s capable of far more complex and daring roles. In Disobedience (2018), McAdams stars alongside Rachel Weisz in a gripping drama about forbidden love and religious conflict. The film tells the story of Ronit (Weisz) and Esti (McAdams), two women who rekindle a past romance within the confines of a strict Orthodox Jewish community in London.

The movie features a breathtakingly intimate and explicit love scene between McAdams and Weisz, where both actresses appear nude. The raw, emotional connection between the two characters is beautifully captured, making the nudity feel organic and essential to the film's narrative rather than gratuitous. McAdams’ portrayal of Esti is both vulnerable and powerful, reminding us how far she has come since her Mean Girls days as the ultimate high school mean girl.
