The XCritic Interview: Rachael Cavalli

There have been many moments in this industry where a performer has just been far too busy to be on Don Juan DeMarko’s hot seat, and that is understandable. Sometimes it is due to no fault of their own, in other instances, it is due to someone that just does not get what an interview does for their career as an actor, performer, and entertainer. Hollywood has the shortest career spans and needless to say, not everyone gets a chance to tell their story until their career has come to an end, and even then, there are no guarantees. I would not say this was the drive behind my pursuit to meet OC Modeling beauty Rachael Cavalli, as I had tried to find time to interview Rachael Cavalli more than a few times over the last two years and things just could not seem to come together for either of us. Rachael is a performer who has had four scenes over at Mile High Media's website reach their top rankings. Each and every one of them, and the more I looked up this model, the more that I found out that this was the case with every single production company that she has worked for, big and small. 

On the day of our interview, I had to reschedule the day before and that is something that I had never had to do, with any performer, but as I learned in 2020, the COVID-19 age has changed many things, with many people. The next day, I was meant to call Rachael Cavalli to start the interview, and I did so an hour early. When I called an hour later, a tired but cognitive porn star answered the phone. My guess was that she had been sleeping, as this starlet is not only one of the hottest MILF performers on the rise, she is also a mom, a producer, and a director. This babe has an OnlyFans that is just massive as her many other assets and oh so beautiful. You want to learn how to be successful, just look at the content that Rachael Cavalli has created in her clips stores and OnlyFans page. 

We spoke for a few minutes as our phones kept connecting us in and out of signal. What I found so astounding about this woman, was that she could do more in a groggy state of mind, possibly clearing the cob-webs, than some performers can do fully awake and on ten gallons of caffeine. We spoke about her home state of Indiana to break the ice, and that is what takes us to the true beginning of getting to know one of the true starlets with massive potential post-pandemic. Don Juan: OK, I have to ask, are you a basketball fan? 

Rachael Cavalli: Oh, of course I am. You have to be a basketball fan when you are from Indiana. It would be sacrilegious if I did not like basketball in my family. Plus, there is not always a lot to do out in Indiana. Watching basketball is our pastime. 

Don Juan: I love the game of basketball. I think it is so badass that you are a fan. With that Miss Cavalli may I say hello darlin’, and thank you for being here. This is an interview that I have wanted for many moons, and I am so glad that we waited. 

Rachael Cavalli: Yes, it is so nice to talk to you finally as well. I am sorry that it took so long. I have just been so busy. I am a performer who really loves what she does and if I am not shooting for the production companies, I am the person who is making their own content, their own films. I am a very busy performer. 

Don Juan: It means the world to us at XCritic that you say such things. So many people in this business had so many great things to say about you when I was doing research, and I was looking deep into your productions, with as many people as I could find that you have worked with. 

Rachael Cavalli: Oh my goodness, thank you so much. I hope they had good things to say. 

Don Juan: I had to ask this because Erika has this in your press release. You seem to have a deep passion for marijuana. I would love to know where this love came from. I am a big advocate for this in the industry and with performers. 

Rachael Cavalli: Oh, I am a person who just loves to smoke and when I moved out to Los Angeles there was just so much of it compared to Indiana where I am from. You could say that I am an enthusiast. 

Don Juan: You are talking to a guy who was on the first floor of the weed business here in Colorado. I love seeing this as a topic that many people put out there in our industry. Plus, we are going to be talking about your work with “Mile High” Media. 

Rachael Cavalli: You are so funny. No, I have always been a person who likes weed. In Indiana, we did not have access like people do in California. So, when it was around, or when people would steal it from their parents, I was always a person in on that action.

Don Juan: That is hilarious. I dig a person who speaks a bold truth. Now, may I ask, how long have you been in the industry now? On some websites, it says three years and on others, it says two and five. Who is telling the truth?

Rachael Cavalli: Oh, it has been closer to five years for me now. I can not believe how fast that time has gone by. 

Don Juan: Now that makes a lot more sense because you now have about one-hundred professional productions under your belt. That is a massive accomplishment.

Rachael Cavalli: Why thank you. I hope that I can triple that amount within a few years' time frame. I have really found a new love for making content over the past ten months. 

Don Juan: First things first. I would love to tell the story about how you found your way to the adult film world? I think this is the best way to introduce you to the XCritic readers. 

Rachael Cavalli: Well, it is a kind of common story. I had initially come out to Los Angeles to see if I could make it on the mainstream side of things, and I found out it was just so tough. I had a few people tell me about the porn industry and that I should give it a shot for one reason or another. 

I started to think about it because I was not a person who watched a lot of porn before I even moved out to LA. After some thinking, I decided, “why not” and I took the plunge and I loved every minute of it. I still do. Soon, I was getting booked more to do porn over fashion modeling, and I also found that the people in this industry were just so amazing. 

The directors, the performers, the people who work with me like my PR staff, the teams that helped me create content for my OnlyFans, they are the reason I stayed and the reason I feel so at home here. 

Don Juan: Oh my God, woman, you are going to make me cry over here!

Rachael Cavalli: Oh, no! Don’t cry because of me. 

Don Juan: I can tell that you are just a unique soul. I was going to ask this later, but I figure we can go here next. I would love to know, what do you think of the title of MILF? As an actor, performer, mom, and woman. I had done so much research on you, I think it is just very awesome to be able to ask this question to a real MILF. 

I will be honest with you, I have kind of a bias towards it. I do not think that some performers should be type-cast in it. Again, no matter if you yell at me for being naive, and kick my ass for being closed-minded by thinking such things, I would love to hear your opinion madam.

Rachael Cavalli: Oh, I love the title of MILF. I love the genre, I love everything about it and no, I am not mad about what you said and how you see things. You were honest with how you feel about it. To be honest myself, it has led to some very, very fun scenes, and ain’t that what we are all here to have? It has also led to being a part of some amazing films. I am a performer who loves filming those scenes. It has led to more work and that is a good thing no matter how you look at it for me. I hope that I can always make these kinds of scenes. 

Don Juan: No, I love it, darlin’! I love asking this because I have heard some performers ask not to be put in this category. Some performers think that it is something that hurts the industry, or even their career. I think it is a very big topic among the starlets of the industry. 

Rachael Cavalli: I have heard that as well from many performers too. I am a person who loves being a MILF. Being a hot mom is something to be proud of, and I think it is all about how much you are willing to put in the work that you do. I want my work to always be good. 

Hey, can I ask you something? 

Don Juan: Darlin’ you can ask me anything. 

Rachael Cavalli: Where are you from? 

Don Juan:I am originally from Sound View, South Bronx, in New York City. Why do you ask? 

Rachael Cavalli: The way that you say “Darlin” reminds me so much of someone I knew from the South. It makes me smile because you have a thick Southern accent when you say it. It is just so nice to talk to someone who has it. Reminds me of home in a lot of ways.

Don Juan: Oh my goodness, you are just amazing darlin’, I tell you what. (We pause for a laugh.) I was raised by a Southern woman. My grandmother taught me so much about being a gentleman and always treating women with respect and compassion. My grandma once told me, “hito, you had better not be one of those men who call women bitches and sluts. You had better find a good name to call them. Like tell them, hey darlin’!” That is what she told me to do, and I did just that. Awe, you made me think of her so much right now. You freakin’ rock, woman. My grandmother taught me so much about life. 

Rachael Cavalli: No, you are the one who rocks. I think that it is cool that you are able to share moments like that. 

Don Juan: For this interview, like we were talking about earlier, I would love for our focus to be on your work with Mile High Media and their many companies in 2021. The first director I would love to talk about is Mike Quasar. What comes to your mind when I speak of Mike, and what was it like to work for him in Lesbian Adventures - Older Women Younger Girls #15?

Rachael Cavalli: Oh, my God, Mike is just the most amazing person in this industry. What I will say first and foremost about Mike, it is that he is so professional. He is the best director to have if you are someone new in the industry. The first time I worked with him, it was just so amazing. I can not say just how much I adore Mike Quasar. There is no other man like him in the industry, that is for sure. 

Don Juan: I love that man. You know, even though he at times looks so reluctant to create the wonder he does on social media, he is a true genius filmmaker in this industry. He is so good at what he does. 

Rachael Cavalli: Yes, yes he is. Mike is a person who I know that when my agent books me with him, I am only going to be on set for a few hours, and I am going to have the time of my life. Every time we have worked together, it has been so good. 

Don Juan: What is it that stands out the most to you about Mike Quasar? 

Rachael Cavalli: He is a person that makes me look so damn good, each and every time. I trust that Mike will always make me look so beautiful. Remember, you were asking me, “what stands out about Mile High Media?” I know that I will always look so amazing with them. They truly make me feel, and look, like a model. Especially Mike Quasar and his camera. 

I found this to be such an amazing response, coming from a model who looks like she just stepped off the pages of a Macy’s catalog. I even told her that. Rachel went on to talk about Mike Quasar always going the extra mile to show her how to pose. To be that person who helped her understand some things in the industry that no one tells you. That remark of making a model look good. I think that is what makes Mile High Media so different from anyone else, and that has always been their standard. I knew I would be able to one day get a model to talk about such industry wonders that the fans do not know. The attention to detail that they have, with all the people they hire. It goes to show how much this company cares, and the models see and feel it like a bolt of lightning. 

Don Juan: OK, so this means that when The Cocks play again, I can expect to see you in the crowd? 

Rachael Cavalli: Yes, that would be so amazing. I had a friend tell me that the next time they play that we are going. So, I will try to make it out. 

Don Juan: Try? No, woman, you have to get your ass out there. That band's shows are always amazing. 

Rachael Cavalli: Yes, I have heard that, but it just is not my favorite type of music. It is a little heavy. 

Don Juan: Oh, my God, you are so cool. One of my interview questions was to ask about your love of music, but only if you brought it up, as I did not want to keep you on here forever. I read somewhere that you are the Indiana girl who just loves hip-hop, rock, and that is so fucking rare. 

Rachael Cavalli: Oh my God, thank you so much. No, it is not that I hate that type of rock. My preferred type of rock is something that includes John Mellencamp and bands like that. Plus, I hear that he is an amazing drummer. That is what will most likely bring me out there. 

Don Juan: Oh, OK. I got ya now. Woman, you are simply as unique as they come. It does take some getting used to if you are a person that does not like heavy stuff like punk and so much more. I come from a family of musicians and one thing I know, you must always stick to what you love. You're leaving the door open means so much. 

Rachael Cavalli: My taste in music is so unique. There is so much that I like. I can not say that I hate heavier-style rock, but it is not the first choice on my playlist. I just like the type of rock that has a lower tone. 

Don Juan: I have so much respect for the person that speaks the truth with music. Music is a view into our soul, and it says so much about you, my dear. Bless your heart. 

Now, to talk about another of my favorites. I think that the Hot Wives series had its most epic entry with volume number four. I would love to ask the same question about the great Jacky St. James. What was it like working with her? She is my favorite writer in the industry. 

As we spoke about just the name Jacky St. James, Rachael just could not contain herself. The smiles, the laughter, the joy, it just came bursting out. The Hot Wives series is always something amazing, and this entry has some of the best in the business within it. It is one of the best boy/girl scenes of her career. I had to find out what made it so. There were so many people that told me about Rachael from this one film. It is a meeting of so many great minds. Shawn Alf, Crystal Taylor, and Quinton James. It is like the porn universe all came together here. 

Rachael Cavalli: Jacky St. James is just so amazing. When you are on her set, you feel like you are right at home, and you do not have a care in the world or ounce of stress on your shoulders. Jacky has been so amazing to me throughout my career. I hope I get to work with her for as long as possible. 

Don Juan: You know, she is a woman who writes her scripts with great performers in mind from around the industry. So your role, it was something so thought out and tailored to your strengths as an adult actor.  It says so much about you and the talents you possess. To me, a Jacky St. James' character, it is the ultimate compliment. 

Rachael Cavalli: You are so sweet for saying that. I had no idea that is how Jacky creates her films, but it shows in everything that she does. She is just this amazing director, who is always as cute as a button on set too. When I work with her, I feel so inspired and at ease with what my mind tells me that I can create. I feel invincible when working with Jacky.

I really enjoy that you brought up Jacky St. James as a subject. She is a woman I can talk all day about. She is a director who brings out the actor inside me. You do not have a lot of people who know how to do that with many people in our industry.

Don Juan: What a cool fucking story. Might I add, you have an amazing publicist, she has put out into the world that you are always mistaken for being a “California Girl.” I can see how this happens. You give off that vibe with your positive attitude & charming personality. You seem like an adventurous person. I read somewhere that you love sex in public. I am dying to know where is the craziest place this has occurred is. I would love to tell that story to the XCritic fans. 

Rachael Cavalli: You are too funny. Oh, gosh, let me see. I would have to say that the craziest place that I have had sex was in the lobby at a hotel. It was so amazing. 

Don Juan: Oh shit! Now, I am picturing this scenario where you had on this long coat and you and your fella maybe sat down in the middle of a busy lobby and you both were fucking while a hundred people were walking past you, oblivious to what is going on? 

Rachael Cavalli:(Laughing) You almost had it right, except I was wearing a short little mini skirt. It was right in the middle of the lobby. I love taking those kinds of risks. The thrill is such a rush. 

Don Juan: Oh my God, woman, you are my fucking hero! I had to ask you that. You seem so outgoing, and it is something you can hear in your voice. 

Rachael Cavalli: What can I say, that is how I think that everyone should live their life. 

This brings up a great point that will be covered in future Don Juan DeMarko articles across the adult landscape. Mile High Media and its epic stable of directors have begun a campaign of making a new type of adult storyline. So much of that stems from Jacky St. James and performers like Rachael Cavalli. What a show it would be to see Rachael Cavalli living out some of the great fantasies that she has taken part in within her real life. It is a fantasy so crazy, it just might work. Don Juan: I love the attention that you are giving your OnlyFans and Clips Store. Do you now have the “bug” to direct, write & produce? It seems like you do with the sheer volume of what you have created already. 

Rachael Cavalli: Oh, I just love creating. This era we are in, it has given us performers so many things. Being able to create something myself and give the fans something I dreamed up, there is nothing better than that. 

Don Juan: I love that you are a person who works with anyone. Well, I don’t mean just anyone. You are one of those girls who just puts aside all the bullshit and gives fans what it is that they want to see. The people you cast and work with, it is a line-up unlike anyone else on the OnlyFans market. 

Rachael Cavalli: I can not take all the credit for that. I am just a person who loves creating content, and I have just gotten started in this part of my career. I again have so many wonderful people helping me. I do not know what I would do without them. 

Don Juan: OK, so I have to put you on the spot one last time. I would love to know, what was your favorite scene and scene partner? Lesbian Adventures 15 was one of the best lesbian scenes of your career and Hot Wives 4, rumor is it may get some nominations come November. I am dying to know, what is the scene that set the room on fire, and was it with Jessie Saint or Quinton James? 

Rachael Cavalli: Damn, you are trying to put me on the spot, aren’t you? It is so hard to choose, but I definitely have to go with Hot Wives 4 and working with Quinton James. That was such a fun day. Our scene was intense and intimate. It is one of the best times I have ever had on set. Quinton is just an amazing man. I remember everything to this day. He had on this cologne that smelled so good and after our scene, the smell rubbed off on me. It was so great. I will never forget it. 

Don Juan: Damn woman, that is fucking awesome. It makes so much sense that this scene would be so wonderful for you. 

Rachael Cavalli: It was, and it was a set that Jacky was running. Her staff, the people that she chooses, it is so amazing each and every time. This is what can be created when everything happens like it should and the set is a warm place to be. That is what I want to add to my Jacky St. James tell all to the fans in this interview. 

Don Juan: Is there anything in closing you would like to tell your fans? Are there any secret little projects you have that you can tell us about before you go? Thank you again for taking out this time for us over at XCritic. 

Rachael Cavalli: Oh, yes there is, but I can not say anything just yet. I will be able to tell the fans a lot more in the future, but for the time being, my lips must remain sealed. Trust me, it is going to be something that will blow your minds away. 

Don Juan: What a gem of a person you are, Miss Cavalli. I really want you to know this. It means so much to this old reporter to see a woman who began her career with so much support of trans films, scenes, and people. Now that it is blowing up, all those great things and people you supported are thriving. I hope you know that your actions and character can change the world, and you have done so already with your amazing career here in our beloved industry. I hope that you know that. 

Rachael Cavalli: Thank you, thank you. Oh, how that means so much to me. I want to tell the fans that I am not even close to being done. I am just getting started, and cannot thank them enough for the support. I do want to say thanks to all the people in the industry for being so good to me. It has helped me to be better and get better. Thank you for having me, Don, it means a lot to be chosen to do this with you.

With that, I left this interview on cloud nine. So excited and flabbergasted at whom this woman is. Yes, she is that performer who has all the physical assets to turn anyone’s head and gain her one-hundred thousand plus followers on Twitter. She has boobs and a booty that should get at least one nomination in the upcoming AVN fan awards, where they get to pick who really has the best assets. But, I learned that Rachael Cavalli, she is so much more. I see her as that type of innovator who blinks and all of a sudden becomes the next Nikki Benz. She has that charm, but she also has that drive. This woman could have spent the entire day resting, but our interview concluded with the woman telling me that her lone day off has been dedicated to the media. I can count on two hands how many performers have had such dedication. This starlet is going far, and she looks to take as many people as she can with her. It is why Rachael Cavalli truly is one of the women of the new millennium if porn.
