XCooking: Bella Vendetta’s Thumbprint Jam Cookies

Calories don't count around Christmas, or so some people say. I don't care and honestly, do you? Who doesn't love a good cookie now and again? It's time to break out the bakeware, fire up that oven of yours and get XCooking! To get you in the holiday spirits, we've asked Bella Vendetta to give us a holiday recipe that is near and dear to her heart...and after a lot of back and forth, she provided XCritic with this one, which seems to go over well with those that aren't familiar with the Italian traditions she was brought up with. These cookies should be familiar to almost everyone, as they are delicious treats to enjoy year-round and the jams used are totally up to you!  If you haven't had a thumbprint cookie before, now's your chance!
