The XCritic Interview: Vanessa Vega Pt. 1

If there is a starlet in the industry who has defied the odds in every way that a performer can defy the odds, it has to be Charlotte Sartre and to what I speak is something very, very positive as that is what this is. Yes, I know when you are showcasing a new starlet within the industry it is all about flash, sex appeal and pizazz, and we will get to all that, I promise you. First, we have to quote a woman who has become one of the modern industry's most successful independent performers. As I began to study my subject, the Latin fireball Vanessa Vega, I asked everyone who had worked with her so far in her career what she was like and that brought me to the lovely Charlotte Sartre. Having just worked together over a late August weekend both women were wowing the Twitter world with stunning shots and sexy creations, all with smiles galore, and that is where our focus will be at the moment. I literally told Charlotte a few hours after this interview that we “had been talking about her all day today” and that I simply had the time of my life talking to this soon to be Best New Starlet nominee. Charlotte simply had this to say, “It’s very rare people like her come into this industry.” I could not have said it better myself. Charlotte Sartre is a woman who has taken this industry by storm, and she has done it in a way that is outgoing and caring to her fellow performers. Very rare in the world of acting, modeling and entertainment. This is a competition of the fittest, do not let the beautiful attire and amazing comradery on video fool you. That is the business. So for Charlotte Sartre to speak of this woman in such a way, it made me see that this starlet is cut from a different kind of cloth. Vanessa Vega took a unique path into the industry. One with a love for what she does and that is where we are going to go within this interview. We are going to take a path of love, with a lover who brings a unique perspective to everything that she and adult entertainment are in the digital age. This is a story of a woman who is doing things in a way that this writer has never seen before and I think that is why her story must be told. Say hello, to Vanessa Vega.

Don Juan : Now, as we begin, I have to tell you that it was a recurring theme for every person to rave about you. Chris Cock told me to tell you hello and his words to me were, “Yes she’s fucking awesome, I love her energy and I’m not just talking sexually.”

Vanessa Vega: Aww, that is very sweet of him. I try to be as kind and nice to everyone that I meet and work with.

Don Juan : I think that it is a very rare thing to have so many people speak about your kindness in the most candid way. It is very rare in the business for a new starlet.

Vanessa Vega: I really appreciate that.

(This amazing young woman has the diction of a seasoned actress and the cool, calm demeanor of an empowered woman. Her confidence is in every word she speaks, every laugh she lets out and the fact that she is literally conducting the interview as she gets her affairs and house in order.)

Don Juan : I loved reading about your story. So you were a dancer for seven years before you entered into the business, is that correct?

Vanessa Vega: Yeah!

Don Juan : That is pretty fucking cool. What I love about that story, when I got started in this business when I was eighteen, my girl, who eventually became a porn star, used to work in a gentleman’s club. That was her first work gig and naturally, being the outgoing gentleman that I am, I used to always spend time at the club. Hustling with the girls. Getting drunk guys to head up to the stage and spend money galore.

Vanessa Vega: Oh hell yeah!

Don Juan : So, the first real question I have for you, how did you specifically find your way into this side of the business? You to me are the perfect definition of what the new age adult entertainer and I mean that as a good thing.

Vanessa Vega: So, I think it was year five, and I met my husband. When I met my husband, this was the first relationship where I was polyamorous. He had been a person who dated sex workers before and is bisexual himself. It was really the first time in my life that I was able to be myself without the fear of being judged and just being accepted for who I am. He told his family everything about me. There was no weird exchange or anything that was between any of us. It was all out on the table.

From there, we just started filming on our own. I would not say that our goal was to make money when we started. It was something between me and my husband where we both said, “fuck it, we can do it, so why not?” Then you add in the fact that we are both “poly” and one day I had just happened to be on Tinder and I met another male performer in the industry. He asked me, “well I see that you film with your husband, would you want to film with me?” My answer was yes of course and once we had both shot together he said, “So why don’t you just do porn?” Since I had met my husband, and we began filming he had encouraged me to do it if that is what I wanted. I had always wanted to do it but in a weird way, I kind of wanted someone to ask me, if that makes any sense.

Don Juan : No, I totally get that. That is freakin’ cool dude. You spoke about being polyamorous and being pan-sexual. I think that is awesome. My girl is also in the industry and my best friend, she is polyamorous and most people would not understand this unless they are polyamorous. If I were to ever marry someone it would most likely be my best friend if that question were posed upon me right now and that is not an insult to either of them. It is something so unique, so thought out and ahead of its time I do not think that society gives it a just due at all because they don’t fully understand it. You know what I mean?

Vanessa Vega: Yeah, totally!

Don Juan : That is totally fucking cool that you are married and that you are poly, rock on!

Vanessa Vega: Thank you. I have now been married for four years.

Don Juan : Too fucking cool! I am a firm believer that sexuality is something that changes the world for people. For me, being a man who works on other sides of the writing world and in adult, I see how sexuality is something that opens up the human heart, mind and spirit in ways so beneficial to people and society.

Vanessa Vega: Exactly. To be able to be with your partner and to be with someone else then to be able to feel that joy for them, that is a very unique and beautiful experience.

Don Juan : Yes, I one-hundred percent agree. You know me being the hopeless romantic that I am, I really believe this. I think that true love and you can have it for and with multiple people. True love is when you see that happiness in them and you want that happiness to extend to every part of their being no matter if it is sex, their personal or business life. No matter if it is in the fun things we do, the growth we partake in big and small. Sex and sexuality are a massive part of that and it unlocks so much in the mind of the human being and our bonds with one another as sentient beings.

Vanessa Vega: Absolutely, oh my goodness. I am really hormonal right now and you are almost bringing me to tears right now because it is so true and so beautiful.

(I can not explain to you how special this is and no, this woman is not crazy. She is not someone who has it “all wrong” compared to what we think that we know about people, life, relationships and society. I learned that love, real love is exactly what she said because I have met one woman who taught me real love and even now, on this day, when we are not together, I see her happy with a good man who takes care of her and that brings me happiness so powerfully. That is as real as it can get in life and it took me many, many years to learn that. How wonderful is that to see in a new starlet in the adult film world. It is beyond fucking awesome is all I can say. I add this part of my love life because I do not think many people would think this could come from an adult entertainer but as I learned many years ago, what makes these folks special is something we never see in the hearts of most humans. I for one have only seen it here and as Vanessa proves, it is not about just sex.)

Don Juan : Oh, I am too.(As I speak in a whimpered voice.)You are talking to a guy who all the girls in the industry call the “lesbian cupid.” A woman who is inside a man’s body, and I am proud to say that.

Vanessa Vega: Oh my God, that is amazing!

Don Juan : I have always had a more feminine brain than a masculine one. Having been in the business for the length that I have I learned that the human heart and mind are epic things when sexuality unlocks their full potential and that it does if you let it!

Vanessa Vega: Exactly, and especially when it is something that is not forced upon you. Then it is amazing.

Don Juan : Oh yes, yes! Consent and that area of truth that bridges people together in this world. The beauty I am with now, the most special thing that we have right now is earning each other's trust. I think people forget the importance of truth and consent. Even the people who live a polyamorous lifestyle.

Vanessa Vega: Yes, absolutely.

Don Juan : Madam, you are simply the bomb. I kid you not, as I prepared for this interview I was reading Tod Hunter’s article about you. I love that man and his amazing mustache. He has the push broom and I have the pencil version. So, did I read this correctly? Basically you were just driving around from club to club and your life was just being a spirit of the world and just traveling? Or should I say, being a traveler in the most weary sense of the word.

Vanessa Vega: Yeah, when I first started, and I am thinking about the first two or three years I was just in LA, going back and forth through Orange County, in between clubs all through there. I mean I danced a lot. I had not really traveled a lot outside that area. Then one day, someone asked me if I had ever danced in Las Vegas. Something just clicked for me after that day and I realized that I could dance in other states. The thought came into my head that I could literally do a paid vacation. I realized that there is the whole other, well, I don’t want to make it sound cooler than it really is. There was a world in itself within the club that the DJ would drive four of the girls to Vegas after shifts on Thursday nights. They would work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and then he would drive them back and drop them all off at their houses.

Don Juan : Damn woman, no wonder you already have this amazing work ethic.

Vanessa Vega: Yeah, so I was doing that for a while. Up until then I had only been travelling internationally for myself, it was never for work. It wasn’t that I was nervous about that stuff because I had a better idea for my career. I had made some money and I decided that I would buy a trailer. I had been working a desk job at the same time that I was dancing. I was actually doing online reservations for campers believe it or not. I had learned everything that you would need to know about life on the road and paying to stay at places all across the country. I had become accustomed to all these RV sites where you did not have to pay anything to stay there. So I drove everywhere. I literally drove from here to Florida. Then I went from Florida to Indiana and from there I drove back home. That ended up being a two-year road trip, or vacation as I thought it to be in my mind. I danced in what probably ended up being twelve states. I had so many crazy times. I remember this one time this trucker literally tried to run me off the road. I can tell you, I have so many crazy stories from being on the road during those two years.

Don Juan : Damn, that is fucking cool as hell. I bet you do have a million and half stories. You know back in the day, when I got started in this business feature dancing was something so massive. It was a big fucking payday if you could draw the crowds. My partner who does all my video, he spent three years on the road in almost the same type of scenario. Actually when I stop and think about it, it was the same exact scenario. They all got together, him, his client and her husband, they all hit the road together for three years. It was a slice of life, he talks about it to this day. The stories from the road. Man, that is truly living.

Vanessa Vega: Truly, honestly. Literally, you do not have to even decide what you want to do, or where you want to be. When you just start driving somewhere you can take your time with life. My days and nights were about the biggest decision being if I just wanted to pull over to this park, or this park. Then, no matter how the day or the week was going, I could just stay wherever I was for as long as I felt like.

Don Juan: Man, that is living darlin’. I really mean that. Well, we are going to get into this question a little bit more down the road but when I had my partner bring me a promo that featured you in it with PervCity. I looked at this scene. I looked at these promo pictures and I saw your beautiful ink. The first thing that popped into my head, was that this is a woman who has, well, maybe a better set of words for it, is that this is a woman who sees the bigger picture in life. I work my second job in publishing, working my way up the ladder and blah, blah, blah the fans have heard my story so much they are sick of hearing it but I learned early in my life that money is not the core of survival or happiness. I envy the fact that you got to travel as much as you did and see so much of this beautiful country as you started out your career. That is something that people never do, and then they regret it later in life always.

Vanessa Vega: Exactly. You know, my saying has always been, “I want to get to Everest, before I can not get to Everest.” You know what I mean?

Don Juan: Yes, I sure do. So, are we talking that you are like me, you are an outdoorsy type person? One where you can just throw down a sleeping bag, and you are just set to go wherever you may be? You just say, “fuck it, we are good!”

Vanessa Vega: Mmmmmmm maybe a little more covered, but I am that kind of person, definitely. I love to go hiking. I love to explore while I am on these types of walks and adventures in my routine whenever this gets to happen.

Don Juan : You can tell that you are an earthly human being. So, I was working on some promo for Evil Angel and an editor brought something to my attention that was your work with Claudio again. I was looking at your ink, and I was saying to myself, “this is someone who has so much depth and artistry inside them.” It is very cool to see that you are that type of person. Not that a person is ever supposed to assume who and what a beautiful woman is on the inside. It is very cool to know that you have experienced such things in life and your career already.

Vanessa Vega: The way that you are talking about me is making me seem way cooler than I really am.

(I will not go as far as to say that you never see this with actors or performers but you never see this with actors or performers. It takes so much to become the superhero porn star. The woman who can become any man or woman’s fantasy. I think that women of this industry deserve to be divas because this takes a very strong-willed human being to perform in front of a camera and live on stage like they do. Vanessa Vega is as humble a soul as I have ever met in any branch of entertainment. This is a woman who has traveled the world, and she makes it out to be not something small, but she sees it for what it is, living life. A true adventurer. She sees in a day what most of us see in six months. You feel that vibe after just speaking with her for ten minutes. It is the humble heart and the keen mind that is what lives in this industry through and through. Seeing it in a new starlet like this, it is the sign of the times. A good sign of the times.)

Don Juan : You are so awesome. Chris Cock, I love him to death and his wife. I have known him for some time in this business. I have seen that man, and he has seen me in good times, in bad times. We both have seen a lot in this life. When he sits down, and he speaks of an intelligent human being, and I am a person who believes that you can see what a person's aura and strength is from first sight. When I saw that ink and that smile, I said this is a gal that I gotta gets ta say hello to.

Vanessa Vega: I feel like I have to note that a majority of my artwork is done by my husband.

Don Juan : Oh my God, that is so fucking awesome. That was one of the questions that I was going to ask you. I love your back tattoo, it is wicked.

Vanessa Vega: Why thank you. I have to finish it and I am terrified.

Don Juan : You know that tattoo, what it reminds me of, because I grew up in Soundview, South Bronx, and art is always left open to interpretation, right? Growing up poor in The Bronx, gang life has always been there and most likely always will. My cousin, who was this big OG gangster, he had a tattoo like you do from shoulder to shoulder, like you do of a bandanas design. He is the first person I thought of. You made me think of the Bronx when I first saw that lovely art work.

Vanessa Vega: Oh my God, how random. That is so funny. I don't even think about it in that way. It is always interesting to get insight from another person’s perspective.

Don Juan : See, that is a good place to start as I would love to know what is its meaning? What is it’s artistic flavor? I would love to hear the story.

Vanessa Vega: To be completely honest with you, there is no thought behind it. We were in Italy on our honeymoon for about a month. We went to a really famous studio that is known around the world for their work. We just decided to go in one day, without an appointment and I told them that I wanted to cover up some previous work on my spine, so they showed me some really cool geometric patterns and told me that if it were be shaded right, you would not be able to really see what was there before. So I said OK. So, the bottom of the design is supposed to be a lotus flower and then shaded in to look like something tribal.

Don Juan: You know, most people do not know this. When you look at the designs of a bandana, no matter the type. It is an arrangement of flowers, the most common is the lotus flower. They are an Asian and South American mixture of art, belief and a few other things that have to do with this hybrid faith in art, religion and a lot of other things. It symbolizes honor and strength and so many other “gangster” themes.

Vanessa Vega: Seriously?

Don Juan : Yes ma'am. The roots in how things came to be with just a fucking rag I find so fascinating. That is what makes the story of getting your ink in Italy so bad ass.

Vanessa Vega: You know by the way that I am Mexican too, right?

Don Juan: Yes, I sure do.

Vanessa Vega: I am from Chihuahua, where is your family from?

Don Juan: You know, on my Mom’s side. I think that my grandfather’s family originated from Jaurez. I think. Being a Spaniard, Apache and Mexicano mix from the south Bronx. I think that is where my side of the family comes from.

Vanessa Vega: Yes, that is right where Chihuahua is.

Don Juan : Oh, Jaurez, it is the craziest fucking city on planet earth.

Vanessa Vega: Oh yeah. I was in El Paso when I was on my trip, and there is a spot within these mountains where a lot of people go to do bible study or something like that with these massive rocks and if you go look the border, you can see into Chihuahua and that is where I am from.

Don Juan: Damn, that is kick ass. You know, my familia and my abuelito, well both of my grandfathers, they came over into the United States I think in the early nineteen-hundreds. What they did was travel around the southwest part of the country on box cars and work the fields, plantation to plantation, farm to farm and ranch to ranch. That is how half of us all spewed out across the country. Half of them said Denver, then others New York and even New Mexico and Arizona.(We share a quick laugh.)

Vanessa Vega. Well, I guess that I got lucky then to end up in California.

Don Juan : That is so awesome. I love LA. When I heard that you were an Orange County woman, I went apeshit, as I love Los Angeles. When you go there, it just gets in you, it becomes alive.

Vanessa Vega: Yeah, I am Long Beach all the way! I long to go back to living there. I live where I live now because of my husband, but Long Beach is always going to be my favorite spot.

Don Juan : Oh, that is fucking awesome and that is why I was dying for this interview. Pardon my manners for not saying thank you in the beginning of this interview, so thank you so much for this time because to me, a new starlet who is creating a buzz, who is also Latina and who is also an LA woman. I do not think there is a better combination in this world, let alone in this business. There is simply not enough of that in the industry.

Vanessa Vega: Oh my goodness, trust me, I am all too aware of it.

Don Juan : Truthfully darlin’ what you have with your composure and I love KJ to death. I have seen your work and written about it. I must say you have this charisma that very few people have. Being that I have seen so many people in this business come and go, I mean this on a personal level, I hope that you stick with it because you are making so many people turn their heads and it is in the best of ways dude. Vicki Chase is one of my best buddies in this industry, and we need more of that Latino presence in the business, we really do.

Vanessa Vega: Yeah, I do not know why it is so hard in the industry. I feel like I am making it look like I am lying to try and get you to compliment me but that was something that I did not expect when I got into the industry, you know what I‘m saying?

Don Juan: I feel ya darlin’! I have been hearing so much about your amazing work ethic. I can tell you this when Suzanne sent me the pictures that we are going to use for this interview, I could tell that you made an impression with her and others and I mean a good way. Then I saw the BTS stuff that you did when you worked with Mick and Maestro, and I was like, “damn, this woman has diction, she is a thinker.” That is the most amazing thing that there is anywhere in this world, it does not matter what you do. You just won’t find people in the world who speak good about anything. That is just the way that the world is, you know? People just are not positive like they should be. I have said this twenty times already, you are different in so many ways and what a great thing that is.

Vanessa Vega: Agreed. Speaking of Suzanne, and that was my second scene ever, and she really, really helped me out just by speaking highly of me to other people. I told her that. I owe her a lot.

Don Juan : I think the most amazing thing is that all of these amazing people who are very business-like and very blunt and hardworking say such wonderful things. They do not say that just about anybody and rightfully so. They are are professionals and I respect them all to death for what they are to this business.

Vanessa Vega: I know, I love that about her and her Twitter feed is absolutely amazing and it speaks for itself of who she is, her conviction.

(Who she is referring to is a woman in this business who runs marketing and so many other things with a production company. This woman is all business, and she is an empowered woman herself. One that ensures the media, the performers and the brand she represents is always displayed with power, might and given respect. That is someone who cares and that is the hard work behind the scenes fans never know about. The pictures that she supplied are what make that perfect touch to this article and that is yet another great thing that fans and critics alike never get to see about the XXX film industry.)

Don Juan : You are going to love this because I love the strong empowered women of this industry more than anything else, I really do. Trust is something you should strive to convey and earn in all phases of life. That is what has been so exciting when talking with people who have that characteristic speak about you in such ways. Those people who are honest and blunt love you because as I can see now, you care and you work your ass off for what you achieve.

Vanessa Vega: Aww, thank you.

Don Juan : I think that the world needs to see who the people of this business really are. There are some amazing souls. I love this business so much and it is because of the people I met. That is my lone reason for staying and striving. I have met the most intelligent, the most loving human beings on earth.

Vanessa Vega: Absolutely! I just met Charlotte Sartre and she is……

Don Juan : Oh my goodness, the sweetest, kindest little nerd who is my pal and my friend…

Vanessa Vega: Dude, she is the sweetest, nicest, most kind, gentle, level-headed person that I just ugh……

Don Juan: So did you guys shoot content together or did you both get booked by a production company to work together?

Vanessa Vega: Yeah, we shot together, and we shot two different scenes. I still have to edit it and everything before it comes out but I will say that it was pretty fantastic.

Don Juan : Her and her hubby are so amazing! She is truly a pal and I love that woman to death.

Vanessa Vega: I can not wait to meet Lance.

Don Juan : They are amazing people. That love of my life I told you about, the gal who is poly and is like my sister to me still I actually got to meet Charlotte through her about three or four years ago. Charlotte was so amazing. At this conversion, Charlotte actually stuck her neck out for her and helped her because that is the wonderful person that Charlotte is. She did it at a time that she did not have to and that is something that defines the wonder of the amazing Charlotte Sartre. I love that woman forever for being that way.

Vanessa Vega: Seriously, uhhhhh.

Don Juan : That is the impression the wonderful people like her create in the hearts of others.

Vanessa Vega: Straight up. The whole time that we were shooting, the entire four hours that I was driving home after we shot, I was smiling the entire time and the radio was off.

Don Juan : She has such a grace about her, and she has so much knowledge about everything. When I need answers or suggestions on anything Charlotte freaking has it. No matter what it is. Pets, art, everything, agencies, bad people in the business and good ones! She pulls no punches and she has this amazing depth to her personality. I can talk about her for hours. So, before I talk for hours about Charlotte, the second question I would love to ask is if you watched adult films before you got into the industry?

Vanessa Vega: Oh yeah, of course! I did.

Don Juan : The new performers of the business have such a love for what we do, what this business is and the creations. I think you have to be a fan first to enjoy such things. I am a fan too who watched before and I loved everything even though most civilians don’t believe that. I love the cinematography, I love the beauty. I think that women are the most beautiful thing that there is on this earth and I think they become the ultimate art in this business. Did you have a favorite genre, or a favorite performer when you were just a fan?

Vanessa Vega: OK, yes. When I was just a fan, my favorites were Katrina Jade and Riley Reid. There was a film that I will always remember. It was this fantasy where their bottom halves were sticking out of this wall and guys paid to go into this room and fuck them. That was my all-time favorite.

Don Juan : Isn’t that just the coolest of things when something that beautiful just sticks in your head.

Vanessa Vega: Oh wait, it gets better. I already got to live out one of my fantasies as there had always been a couple that I loved watching and I actually got to shoot with them a few weeks ago. It was this very coercive moment and I actually got to cry. It was just amazing.

Don Juan : Oh My God, you are going to laugh at this. The first interview that I ever had was Nina Hartley and fuck, I have had a crush on her since as long as I can remember, since I was around ten if a person wants to get technical about it. I totally know how you feel as when I met her, Nina tells me, “you are just so cute. Can I have a picture of you to store in my phone.” I was a total fanboy and went ape shit.

Vanessa Vega: Aww.

Don Juan : There is so much beauty in this business. I loved reading that you too have a love for the cinematography of the XXX film world.

Vanessa Vega: Totally! Now, how do I say this positively…… I want to see more of it. That is what I want to do, that is what I want to create in my work. Especially with what I just shot with Charlotte. It is exactly what I want my work to always be. Which to me is not just your regular kind of sex scene. I want people to be able to see the romance. It is something that is quick in the beginning, then there is this slow motion that involves things like licking someone. You know what I mean? I want it to be where the kissing is a main focus and kissing is something that can just be so hot.

Don Juan: I couldn't agree more. I have pitched to a few production companies the idea of reality and intricacy in the little things when it comes to sex. If you have the right two performers cast in a scene, you can make something as simple as two women walking up to one another, building up for just a kiss, and that scene would be a bigger seller than anything that is vulgar and I say that not as a romantic but as a person who loves porn. Being the "lesbian cupid" of the business, what I have said for many years. If you could film a girl/girl encounter to where the women brought each other to tears, that would sell beyond words.

Vanessa Vega: Seriously, have you been reading my diary!

Don Juan : No! Oh my goodness, this is so wonderful to see a performer think this way. I had a friend who was booked for a scene and the sex brought her to tears, which brought me to tears and when I heard that and pondered it in a business and artistic manner. I said this is what it is all about when it comes to seeing what sex is, even on film!

Vanessa Vega: Yes, yes. That is what it is about. That is what I want. It is about things being sexy. That is so important to me.

Don Juan: Both ladies ended up dating each other afterwards but that is another story. It tells its own story of what can be, because that scene sold. So, let’s talk about your work with Maestro Claudio and PervCity, tell us what the Maestro is like will you? It seems like that was a fun day on set with everything that was presented to the fans.

Vanessa Vega: It was very interesting because it all happened so quickly. Even when I was working with them for Bam Visions. The days on set were quick and that is not necessarily a bad thing at all. The booking happened very quickly and when I showed up on set things happened quickly as well. To be in the moment with certain things was very fast. That is what comes to mind right away.

Don Juan : Oh, the scenes that came out with both companies were amazing! Getting to see the interviews you have done, getting to hear from other parties, and see that composure that is Vanessa Vega, you made it look like a six-hour day on set but a good one in both instances. Everything was so entertaining. The scenes were all shot very well. Each time you performed with people who had amazing exchanges with you, that is never seen with a first year performer and I mean almost never!

Vanessa Vega: The anal was so easy that day. Walking onto that set, everything was so casual. I think that you might recognize this about me, now that you have watched my scenes a few times. I am so bad at faking things, so I choose not to. In that scene, he was just making me cum over and over again. This was a moment where I felt, “hey, there is just a camera here” and what made me so happy about all this was that Suzanne told me that he usually runs home afterwards right away and all I can say, because this was a moment that is a bit personal, but we spend forty-five minutes just being people. We just talked and talked and talked. He is such a fascinating person, he has such beautiful eyes, ugh, I am telling you. That is what I fucking love, a real ass conversation with someone.

…and that is part one. I am at a loss for words so this will be short. I told this beautiful woman that she reminds me of a certain performer of the year and friend and as I began to plan the finishing touches on this article I had so many people tell me, “She has an energy that I have not seen in a long time.” That is a statement reserved only for the best of the best when you hear it come from men and women of dignity and professionalism in this business. To see a new starlet with this much wonder about her, it made me see that there is a new age of industry upon us and to have people like her a part of it, perhaps leading the charge, that is a wonderful thought to think about during the year of 2020. Part two is even deeper and all I can say is you have not even seen the most beautiful side of this amazing new starlet. Charlotte Sartre and Chris Cock are two people who have seen it all and they are two people I call friend. Chris told me that "Vanessa will grow on you" and that is exactly what she did.
