Rising Star Ember Snow

Since March is National Woman’s Month, what a better way to start off the month here at XCritic with an interview with one of the newest and hottest performers Ember Snow. Ember has taken the Industry by storm with her energetic talent as an actress, which she has brought over to all her scenes. For Ember it doesn’t matter who her co-star is for that day on set, she gives it her all and then some.

The only thing that actually matters to her, is that the intensity of the scene comes out on camera and that everyone on that set has enjoyed themselves thoroughly in every single way possible! I had the pleasure of interviewing the rising star and powerhouse and noticed that in her replies to my questions that she is a force to be reckoned with. There is literally nothing that Ember won’t due for the love of her fan and her passion for acting!

1-What are your favorite “classic porn” flicks of any genre? 

I am a really big fan of Andrew Blake's work in the late 80s and early 90s.  Night Trips I and II, Elements of Desire, and of course the legendary Hidden Obsessions which introduced us to Janine Lindemulder and Julia Ann.  The ice dildo scene is hot (no pun).

2- Are you more comfortable doing girl/girl or boy/girl?

3- You’ve been in the industry for the better part of two years now, where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?

 I got into this business to learn about the craft of film making and to work on raising the capital for mainstream projects.  That's where my career is headed.  While I hope to achieve those goals in less than ten years, I wouldn't count out being involved in the adult industry well in my later years.  Whether it is producing, directing or even performing if people still want to see me fuck on camera.

 4-Can you tell us about your first Anal scene and your partner Ramon Nomar? 

Other than it was amazing?  Thing is, when I first got into the industry, I figured I'd never do anal.  My pussy is really small to begin with and I figured my ass would be just as bad or worse.  But over the last year and a half, I used a lot of anal toys in my cam show and got very used to it.  I admit when I heard that Ramon was going to be my scene partner for it, I was nervous (more than I already was), but when it came time to do it, I was surprised not only how easily it went in, but that he was able to fuck me really hard.  Harder than I thought I could handle.  It was one of the best experiences of my life and I came so many times, I can't count them.

6-What is the difference between camming and doing porn?

So, so, so honored!  From the time I got into the industry, I had my eyes on this and have been trying to catch their attention.  I actually ran into one of the owners of Cherry Pimps a few months before they told me and I practically begged him.  However, I think they already had me in mind, they were just waiting for the right month..and my birthday month, no less!

 9-On your Twitter feed it shows you holding in your hands PS4 Kingdom Hearts.. Have you finished the game yet? 

OMG...who has time to play? I'm in post-production on my first self-produced porn feature, I'm back to shooting again after an involuntary hiatus and I am camming constantly!!  But I have been taking a few hours out here and there to get my feet wet.  I love it.  Brings back memories of my childhood.

10-What does 2019 and going beyond have in store for you?

Hopefully a lot.  I have a lot of very lofty goals ahead of me and I'd like to knock them all out in the coming year.  I just signed with a new agency (ATMLA) and they are very aware that I finally want to take the industry by storm. I'm hoping to do my first professional three-way with two guys (I have self-produced three on my own for my ManyVids Clip Store). I also want to do my first blow bang, gang bang and...(drum roll)...my first DP!!  Yup, I'm already starting to train for that.  I am finishing up post on my first porn feature and I have plans for more of those as well.  I'd also like to start production on my first mainstream feature as well, but we'll see how all that goes.

11- What do you do in your free time?

 What free time?  LOL When I'm not shooting and camming ,I'm eating, sleeping and shooting my own content.  But seriously, I love to travel and don't get to do enough of it.  I love watching movies and TV shows and, obviously, videos games are a passion for me.

12- What attracted you to do porn?

I cannot lie that money was the primary motivator, but not for the reasons most would expect. I had gone on three meetings with potential investors, trying to raise money for a mainstream feature and in all the cases, the investors just wanted to date me or sleep with me.  Finding my film would happen if I allowed them to have me.  I had been watching porn since before I was legally supposed to (don't tell anyone) and had always had a curiosity for it.  I had been working as a mainstream model and actress, but the idea of porn didn't seem that crazy of a step for me.  I also knew I'd work more consistently than I was in mainstream and making infinitely more money.  Then you don't really need those investors because you can get the money yourself.  On top of all this, the porn industry is a great way to explore your sexuality in a relatively safe environment.  Look at my anal scene with Ramon Nomar.  2 years ago, I never would have thought I could do that...and love it!!

 13- What performers do you enjoy working with that you have a good amount of chemistry with that carries over onto the screen? 

Oh my God, there are so many.  Most of the people I work with are just incredible and it would take me forever to list them all, and I'd feel awful if I left someone out.  So I am going to name one person, Demi Sutra.  In fact, I get to fuck her again in two days.  She is so energetic and real.  She makes me wish I had a dick so I could feel what guys feel when she's fucking them.  But to single her out is not to downgrade any number of others.  I just name her because she's amazing and all I can think about is eating her pussy in two days.

14-In producing your own content, which do you feel is less hectic, camming or shooting for someone else?

Well, camming for me is not like shooting my own content.  Camming is just like doing a podcast, just singling out certain guys and having on-camera phone sex with them.  But to compare my own content shoots with a pro shoot, it is always more hectic because I will shoot a minimum of 5-6 scenes in a day (my record is 16 clips)...and I'm the star of every one of them, so I am constantly on the move.  My business partners, known as "The Nice Guys" - Shawn Donovan and John McDougle - keep things running smoothly on the set at all times so I don't have to think about anything but my own performance.  But still, I have never had a shoot for another company where I had to keep moving all day and fuck or suck up to six people.

15-Do you have a “No List” of people that you won’t work with?

No.  Not anymore.  I did for a little while, but I did away with it.  One guy was on the list because he was constantly looking for excuses to fuck me off the set, which I understand, but still, some of us do have boundaries.  The other guy was similar, but we'd never worked together before and his treatment of me bordered on harassment.  However, I recently took him off the list because I think it'd be a lot of fun to work with him and just keep it at that.  Sometimes the anticipation can lead to great chemistry.

 16- What advice can you offer to those who want to start out in porn?  

Talk to me.  Seriously.  I can give you the complete rundown on what to do and what not to do.  I have been advised by no less than 10 of the industry's legends and while every single one of them had different opinions on things, I was able to find a common thread in their guidance and it has worked out well for me.  I have made some mistakes along the way, I think we all do, but you don't learn from being perfect.

17- Do you see yourself more of a Dominant or a Submissive?

 When I am with a man, I love to be either dominant or at least on equal footing with my partner.  I think there is enough of a stereotype out there for women in general, and Asians in particular, of being submissive.  I don't see why that has to be.  I'm sure there are lots of guys out there who want their woman to show them how much they love sex and to fuck them BACK, rather than just lay there and take it.  It creates a much hotter energy between two partners.  With women, I have absolutely no problem being submissive.  If I am with a woman who genuinely likes women, then she can just take me and tear me to shreds.

18-Which performers be it Male, Female and TS would you want to work with more often?

 I'm trying to balance in my career so I am not seen as only doing one thing.  I honestly feel that I don't get cast in enough quality girl/girl scenes (the stuff I did for Cherry Pimps is a major exception) so I really want to do more there.  However, I also haven't done a lot of scenes involving groups of guys.  The kinkier the better.  So it's not an easy question to answer.  Also, I do feel that you can overdo it when working with TS performers, so I can be kind of selective and picky, but I am not opposed to it.  In fact, I was just talking to a major director the other day about my first DP scene being with two TS performers, so we'll have to see if we can get that together.

19- Have you ever had a stalker while Camming?

 No.  Or maybe I should say, God, I hope not.  I wouldn't advise anyone to try because my managers and my business partners have all worked in the industry for many years and have dealt with stalkers for other girls before. So, please, guys, be respectful?  Not just of me but of all performers?

20- What is the one thing that you want your followers to take away when they watch any of your clips or movies?  

What I really hope is that everyone and I do mean everyone, who watches my scenes realizes that I truly love what I do.  Sex is an amazing thing to perform and knowing that people enjoy watching me is an even bigger turn on.  But I also know that there are people out there who criticize my scenes or even people who think porn is disgusting and they want to judge me for what I do.  I want them all to know that until you actually free yourself, you won't know what it is like.  Don't believe the negative media or the stereotypes.  Some girls get into this business and hate it.  Others get in and become indifferent to the whole process.  But girls like me LOVE what we do and we try to show it to you through our performances.  I know I do.  It's why I came so many times with Ramon Nomar.  I was getting fucked in the ass by a guy with a huge cock, it felt great, the energy was incredible and I knew that hundreds of thousands of people were watching by way of the camera lens.  Knowing you're out there is why I smile during my scenes.  That's for you.
