Hi I’m Elektra Rose!

Hi! I'm Elektra Rose, and am so excited that XCritic asked me to do a series of blog posts. Next month one of the films I'm VERY proud of comes out, and it's Kayden Kross directing so how could it not be amazing! The movie is Kayden Kross’ Casting Couch and the guys at XCritic thought it was a great chance for me to write up a few blogs so you can get to know me better.

Before I got into porn, I knew nothing about it; the people, the production, not a single thing about this crazy mysterious world. I thought you had to be some crazy hot, could be a Victoria’s Secret Angel-typegirl to even be considered to do porn. In no way did I ever expect you could apply on agencies websites or that agencies recruited girls, especially girls like me.

I think I was thinking of the adult entertainment industry more as being more along the lines of a secret cult that no one really knows about, which, from an outsiders perspective, I can still see being true. There are so many misconceptions about this industry because I don't think most people have any clue what goes on in our world, and, sadly, most of them shed an extremely negative light on us as performers and as people.

Without a sliver of doubt or regret in my mind, I can say that porn is easily the best thing to ever happen to me. From a girl who was living on the other side of the country still living at home with her parents, to living in Los Angeles by myself with my own car and  apartment, I’m amazed about how much I've grown up in less than a year. I’ve learned a tremendous amount about how my body works, what I like and don't like, and who I am as a person.

For the first time in my life I don’t feel like a slut, which is slightly ironic, considering I fuck way more now than I ever have in my life. I am at peace with my body. Growing up a dancer, I was always the one girl that wanted a smaller chest, never bigger. As other girls were doing everything possible to make their breasts blossom from As to Ds overnight, I was constantly Googling how to make them shrink! I’m thankful for them now, I’m thankful for all the amazing things my body can do, like fuck and have no gag reflex so I can swallow dick like a champ. Oh, and squirt!
