Your legacy

Time. It can be either your best friend or your worst nightmare. It can be the thing that adds simpliciry & structure in your life or it can be a large annoyance and reminder that it is just that; time. Continuous. Never ending, always evolving selfish thing that waits on no one. The clock is always ticking. Tick tock tick tock. I sometimes like to stare at a clock just to listen to the structured truth the clock is speaking. It's so in sync. The clock has life figured out completely. It understands that it is just that; time. Every person is designated an expiration date, but time is the only one who knows when it is. Time is the only thing that determines if you'll be here to make your next movement.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, it is november. The holidays are vastly upon us and soon the retail market will be vomiting Christmas carols and decorations. The entire meaning of the 'holidays' will be fogged and replaced by materialistic items and goods that you can't take with you in the end. I love the holI days, don't get me wrong. I as well am one of those individuals standing in line, rushing to finish purchasing gifts for the ones I love, but it's also important to me that I have (and never will) forget the true meaning of the holidays. 

Im a big believer in paying it forward. There are so many selflish people in this world that only care about "what's next for THEM" how can THEY get ahead. Sadly, the majority of society is so fucked up. I guess it's human nature; survival of the fittest if you will - to only care about ones self - but is that what you want to do with your time? You only have so much of it and you can't take your materialistic items, your bank account or anything else of that matter when you go so why NOT be SELFLESS? Why not pay it forward? 

The only thing about life and time that lasts forever if your legacy. What impact you made on this world before your time expired. Did you make a difference? Will your legacy and memory of you be that of which someone would be able to say, "all that person wanted was for happiness of others because it is the happiness of others that has brought true happiness her, her life and her legacy."
